and if I'm not mistaken, the scroll wheel is different and the LED is gone.

Bling bling means the blue LED on the DeathAdder. The black edition does not have any LED. However, the grip is definitely better on the black edition making it more comfortable for gaming. It is also branded as a limited edition mouse.

Black Edition is wayyyyyyyy smooth,
means not as much grip as the rubberised normal DA.

Im using BE and Non BE btw.
I prefer Non BE for gaming
BE for non gaming

Nope, the Black Edition's top surface is smoother and the sides are rubber coated.
If you want a soft one then probably the Goliathus. If you need a wrist rest, then consider the Vespula.

Of course you get only 1 size inside a box, 3 inside a box is definitely overkill and their sales would bloom like crazy (and also making loss for them).

As zandara mentioned, you can actually feel it as they did provide a small hole for you to feel the surface.

If you need a gaming mechanical keyboard, no backlit LEDs, just go with BWE, if you don't need a mechanical keyboard, Lycosa should do it.

yea, but seeing as how BWE is only about RM30 more than Lycosa...
most are actually buying the BW regardless if they need mechanical or not
afaik, ban leong also no more stock.
some IT shop in one utama on LG i think has it...but they put the more expensive old price.
iirc even CH they price at RM220+ or RM250+.

why not? it is a mech keyboard. Put aside quality issues, it is actually a great board with a pretty design for some but sadly it doesn't appeal to me.
not to mention that it is one of the cheapest full mech keyboard out there.

Which Lycosa your refering to?

hmm, im using the lycosa for quite some time now, issues i've had with it are the common lycosa problems. touchpad sometimes go bonkers (you need to unplug and plug it back again to reset the keyboard). the rubber coating on the WASD keys faded slightly (my hands sweat alot at times). other than that, its a phenomenal keyboard, excellent to type and game with. definitely a recommendation.

my replacement keyboard for the lycosa = Tron Legacy Keyboard. ^^
