QUOTE(Vigilant @ Apr 19 2011, 03:55 PM) tried regular DA, the feel really very nice, but price of black edition is very similar, have to knw more info b4 purchase.Added on April 19, 2011, 4:04 pm QUOTE(TechnoG @ Apr 19 2011, 03:44 PM) Yup. Instead of the glossy at the side, they changed it into rubber Ya lor, the scroll wheel blue led is gone, this is also the disadvantage of BE DA, looks very dark later, not yeng ad.and if I'm not mistaken, the scroll wheel is different and the LED is gone. Added on April 19, 2011, 4:15 pm QUOTE(locksng12 @ Apr 19 2011, 03:26 PM) 0168257061 is one of the owner of the DA Black Edition. By looking at his photo, the material looks very different. can gv me the link? thxThis post has been edited by FiragaZ: Apr 19 2011, 04:15 PM |

QUOTE(OKLY @ Apr 19 2011, 04:56 PM) Bling bling means the blue LED on the DeathAdder. The black edition does not have any LED. However, the grip is definitely better on the black edition making it more comfortable for gaming. It is also branded as a limited edition mouse. oic, haha |

QUOTE(0168257061 @ Apr 20 2011, 02:33 PM) lol where got same material lar. thx, i will get the BE DA.Black Edition is wayyyyyyyy smooth, means not as much grip as the rubberised normal DA. Im using BE and Non BE btw. I prefer Non BE for gaming BE for non gaming However I use BE for gaming because the side grip feels more comfort |

QUOTE(OKLY @ Apr 20 2011, 09:14 PM) Nope, the Black Edition's top surface is smoother and the sides are rubber coated. There are 2 types of Goliathus, control and speed, i wonder which 1 is better? Is there are 3 size in 1 pack?If you want a soft one then probably the Goliathus. If you need a wrist rest, then consider the Vespula. |

QUOTE(OKLY @ Apr 20 2011, 09:42 PM) Of course you get only 1 size inside a box, 3 inside a box is definitely overkill and their sales would bloom like crazy (and also making loss for them). I go look some review already, control edition surface is made from rough cloth, since i looking for comfort, speed edition is better 4 me As zandara mentioned, you can actually feel it as they did provide a small hole for you to feel the surface. |

QUOTE(Vigilant @ May 9 2011, 05:18 AM) Known problems/cons with this keyboard. lol the alt key keep folo the space button press down, but i think he press the space button too right hand side, normally i will press the left to mid area of space bar, it shud able avoid this case.1. 2. Keyboard layout, 5 macro keys at the left. But people can get use to it. If you need a gaming mechanical keyboard, no backlit LEDs, just go with BWE, if you don't need a mechanical keyboard, Lycosa should do it. |

QUOTE(Everdying @ May 9 2011, 01:33 PM) yea, but seeing as how BWE is only about RM30 more than Lycosa... what is mechanical in keyboard? Im interesting in Lycosa, is it worth to spend more rm30 go get BW?most are actually buying the BW regardless if they need mechanical or not afaik, ban leong also no more stock. some IT shop in one utama on LG i think has it...but they put the more expensive old price. iirc even CH they price at RM220+ or RM250+. |

i need some hlp choosing lycosa and black widow, i like the appearance of lycosa over black widow, but adding another rm20 can get me a razer "mechanical keyboard" aka black widow, i read some review and article of mechanical keyboard, but i not sure is it alot different over a regular keyboard like lycosa when use, coz its still a gaming keyboard. Not sure is it worth to spend extra rm20.

QUOTE(MuchentubunZ @ May 31 2011, 04:40 PM) hmm, im using the lycosa for quite some time now, issues i've had with it are the common lycosa problems. touchpad sometimes go bonkers (you need to unplug and plug it back again to reset the keyboard). the rubber coating on the WASD keys faded slightly (my hands sweat alot at times). other than that, its a phenomenal keyboard, excellent to type and game with. definitely a recommendation. sad case, about the touchpad my replacement keyboard for the lycosa = Tron Legacy Keyboard. ^^ Added on May 31, 2011, 5:17 pm QUOTE(MuchentubunZ @ May 31 2011, 04:40 PM) hmm, im using the lycosa for quite some time now, issues i've had with it are the common lycosa problems. touchpad sometimes go bonkers (you need to unplug and plug it back again to reset the keyboard). the rubber coating on the WASD keys faded slightly (my hands sweat alot at times). other than that, its a phenomenal keyboard, excellent to type and game with. definitely a recommendation. sad case, about the touchpad my replacement keyboard for the lycosa = Tron Legacy Keyboard. ^^ This post has been edited by FiragaZ: May 31 2011, 05:17 PM |
