me thinking to sell my wd external harddisk that can be used with beyond after upgrading to pvr...PVR was great

When the hall are Astro going to bring in a HD news channel? Just give us back Sky News HD..so many things happening in the world everyday and we still stuck with SD news channels..and those crappy RTM and TV3 news BS..

i mean about volume control byond like i said when i press vol+ will show blue bar like that
u mean try volume- + OK....it will blink 4 times
i need volume hold -+ both press OK i mean 3buton hold 3 my hand ????

peeps.....i have one PVR decoder...so it will be placed at hall...i have 2 tvs.....so located at hall will be using normal red black white cables....to crt tv...where else in my room upstairs....hdtv....so basically i need a very long hdmi cable.......since 1 decoder can be connected to 2 TVs.....please advise if there is other alternatives.

I got upgraded for additional RM7.50, with HD channels without having to pay RM20/M. Free installation etc etc.

Mayb for promo period only...many got FOC HD Ch on conversion for first few mths (2-3 mths?)...

Nope. I've ask specifically to verify it it's just for a promo period. She said no. I called again to verify with other officer.

Guys my astro beyond controller seem to be failing me after yesterday the info button,+-Chanel button wont work anymore? Any idea whats wrong?

Heard that Astro will be bringing in few channels from India ( Sony entertainment television, star plus and etc) . Can anyone confirm this or heard similar news?

A possibility that it's part of Astro's larger plan to systemically remove SD transmission?
When news spread of such FOC conversion, more will changeover to Byond & then in time Astro can do away with SD Channels?
ATM a no. of SD channels/prgs SAME as HD ones! Eg WLT, HBO, SMV, Sports Ch, etc.

So wastage of bandwidth?

f.y.i. Tamil, Hindi channels on free preview on Starhub Singapore......almost all of English subtitles......strange why Astro is not offering.....
