the black one is B1 issit? not B2? the tweeter not covered by grills issit?

Both B1 and B2 have black and beech units, the black ones are acoustically identical, just that they are old stock(but the new generation) before Ban Leong took over MA dealership from Acoustics Arts. I believe from what a friend mentioned to me that the RM800+ per pair is for the B2 in black but then this is just as good a deal.

Whether the tweeter is covered by grille or not I am not sure but both B1 and B2 should have grilles covering their tweeters (can be removed though easily)

oooo. not bad la. i should have went to the audio fair. wouldn't mind another pair if it was 860. really a good deal. the older B1 the grill is more like the mercedes star, the new B2 is honeycomb grill type. also i think removing the grill the sound might be brighter being metal tweeter and all

Do any 1 knows where can audition the MS Avant 902i?

Not to mentioned that this mags aint cheap too. I usually buy it from Selvan in Sg Wang. It's half the price for the same mth issue albeit at 2nd or 3rd week of the mth.

Auditioned once at one HIFI shop in 1-Utama new wing. uhhh....cannot remember the name of the shop, sorry. but i think there's only one hifi shop there. and that's also the place where i met Mr. Marantz. hehe.

dun carry? or do you get a few suppliers to
bring their equip to your home so that you
can actually do a A/B comparison? b'cos
there a quite a few brands in the market
and diff supplier carry diff brands, if you
know what i mean.

perhaps you can share with us who are
your suppliers, so that we can all be benefited.
