Stock cable is silver-plated copper.
That's why many users, including me, change to pure copper (OCC or OFC) after-market cable.
Even though I'm using Oppo HA-1, which is class A headphone amp, I prefers the SQ when paired with tube amp like Woo Audio WA22

i think there's only one model from onkyo......

alternatively...if your budget is around 2k...perhaps you can scout for second hand stuffs
brands like marantz, wharfedales, Mission and etc might fit into your budget

there's a couple of shops in Amcorp that sells mini hifi as well

840 got support dvd video playback, i think onkyo, denon, marantz and other brands only play audio cd, mp3.

maybe can compare with pioneer got
