My friends who are using U Mobile have been complaining that recently it has been very slow, is it true?

When I on roam how do I know I'm roaming on celcom2g? May I know if I enable roaming. Do I need to pay extra?

I Am From Maxis Using 3G Plan. I Wander U-Mobile 3G Speed Fast A Not ?

Maxis Slow On Afternoon. Morning And Night Fast. I Wan A Stable 3G Connection. Any Recommendations ?

if u roam under celcom 2g. no extra charges. i have been roaming for 2 months under celcom. if need pay... i sure pokai d! hahahah

hen ytd... the 3g got problem then 2g was fine! hahahaha weird... maybe maintenance or sth...
but didnt really affect me la as i set 2g and 3g ogether so the phone will change between networks when i use bbm and whatsapp!
got once was juz realllyyy slow la! today seems fine

The thing is umobile can only roam on celcom? Coz I do not know where to check I'm roaming on what.

u try check your settings)

For Window Mobile Need Enable The Roam Only Works Wor.

set your PDA to Auto ( UMTS or GSM ) and if dun see UM3G when u are in a UM3G enabled area, do a Network Reset will do.

Hmm, actually only 200 sms free to other operators. Aiya, always got something hidden.

Now I Wanna Leave My Maxis Either Go Digi or U-Mobile With Unlimited Internet Haizzz Very hard Do Decesion La. Some Of My Friends Say Digi Good My Family member say u-mobile good, duno who to believe.

this mth u MNP into UM first, test one mth, if not good, next mth u masok DiGi, if still no good, MNP back into UM/Maxis

Haha, very difficult to be satisfied with any one telco. My frens who are using digi are satisfied with the net for its consistency but say the line is terrible. My other frens using u mobile say the net is fast but slows down terribly sometimes. I am also using Maxis but hyc, duno if worth it to port in to u mobile.

Btw, according to their faq, the new postpaid package cannot port in your current number. That kinda sucks.

ya.. what I read is 300 sms also.. but why u mentioned 200? mind to explain?

Coz this page shows 200 for all telco while the balance 100 within network.

i see.. truly the earliest webpage they posted is misleading.. although the deal is good, but me too against u mobile that they are trying to mislead their customers

Hi guys, I just switched from DiGi prepaid to U Mobile Prepaid today, and subscribe the UNLIMITED Mobile Internet.
Released the Internet Tethering in my iPhone 3G has gone.

Anyone encountered the same problem?? Thanks

Tested my new umobile prepaid (pay-as-you-use) during my trip to Cameron/Genting:-

My house (Johore Bahru, Nusajaya) - NO 3G!!! It is a shock cuz Nusajaya is right within Iskanda Development Region... Terrible download speed @ 28 kbp

North South Highway (between Johor and Seremban) - 1 - 2 mbp
North South Highway/Seremban - 3 mbp to 5 mbp

Cameron Highland - Only 2G, but signal ok... appx 130 kbp

Genting - 2G - appx 130 kbp at public area downstairs
- 2G - appx 70 kbp in hotel room


I like Umobile cuz it is cheaper. But I lost phone connection a few times when in hotel room in Genting. I need to switch off and on my phone (Samsung SII) to restore signal. Any idea why is that so?

so ez mey ? i am using super sms now. if mnp back, sure cant get back same plan.
