what brand and model mobo u use?
e0 cpu should be able to get 3.6ghz with proper cooling and good hardware combination

i think it ur ram... try use one slot... wat ram u r using?

btw.. use much looser timing..hope this help thjoughh

y i can onli oc to 3.0?if 3.1ghz then cannot enter winxp? " hardware problem" and blue screen appear.

i'm using kvr hynix dt d43 512+256...

dat why lar..my frenz using e0 and using same mobo like me..can oc untill 4.1
3.6 using default vcore
i'm using abit is7-eg2

i think u need to use one stick already enough... btw use loose timing.. i heard it can do 3-4-4-8.. try use this and see how..

same ar?icrease Vcore and Vdimm oso cannot enter windows.stable freq onli 3.0GHZ.. p4 2.4 (northwood) , 3 x 256 Geil DDR400 , MSI mobo...if i use dual channel RAM mode onlie can go 3.1 like that.

p/s : psu Acbel (before i change to acbel 2.7ghz oso not stable)

Hi, i wish to overclock my Northwood 2.4ghz but i have zero experience in overclocking , can someone teach me how and wat to do to overclock my cpu ? Btw, i'm using Jetway PM9MSR2 s478 mobo VIA chipset.

Your mobo not very best laa for OC.

Try to increase your FSB 10 by 10 and see how far you can go. Do remember to watch out for your cpu temperature.

This is the guideline for newbs :

Limitation for Northwood core Processor :

• Keep your CPU temperature under 55 Degree Celsius
• Vcore no greater than 1.7v
• Whichever comes first, let it be your limiting factor.

Limitation for Prescott Core Processor :

• Keep your CPU temperature 65 Degree Celsius Load temperature.
• Vcore 1.525v should be your upper limits.

b4 u do any oc'n recommend u read d pinned thread first in order for u to noe wats u r doin...
