I applied online two days ago and managed to get 17 May for installation. Later I noticed that that day is a public holiday! Something wrong with the system?

Yeah, you are right. I applied online on 3rd Apr, installation date given was 27th May.

Hours later, received an sms from Unifi saying the date is postponed until I paid up outstanding balance in streamys/house phone account.

After paying up, call them to notify Unifi that outstanding is settled. And you know what, their cs gave me a new installation date, and it's on 20 Apr.


Unifi vip5 had been fast and steady for the past week.

may i know, what is the estimated waiting period for installation (petaling jaya) if i apply for vip5 at tmpoint tomorrow?

I have to agree on this. My VIP20 has been working fine for long time already. No complains here. biggrin.gif
Btw, my unifi is on fiber.

i wonder.. if they do implement the cap, i asked a unifi promoter b4, she said oni will reduce 1 meg if exceed cap..

wonder if that's true lol

another problematic VIP5 here..being in 9 days of bad disconnection issue. ask them to change modem but still refused..
Unifi on VDSL
SNR reading from MDF room to home wall plug is good.. 27db Upstream n Downstream...so what else the issue? Not the modem?
Tired with the TM Level1 help desk..my ticket is not going anywhere :-(

No idea, but they do installations on Sundays also, so maybe public holidays as well.

the optical led turns red only 2 days after installation. any fix for this or do i have to sit on a chair listening to that automated msg for hours till somebody comes?

Mine is OK.. it is slightly warm, which is normal.
To be on the safe side, I put a mini notebook fan to keep it cooler biggrin.gif
