this phone come with agps, what is the diff between agps and gps?

Even if i select any ringtone that comes with the phone preset..it still play the default.

Did you set it within the Messaging app?

open Messaging app > Settings > Notification Tone

Just bought my wireless router and got it all setup. Time to have some fun finally.......

argh!!! My wifi connection wont stay on long enough for me to download hd game.... i'm using linksis WAG54G2. change the channel 6 and 11. no improvement

So far I have always been on 2g, wifi@home, data, 30mins email retrieval, Facebook and social stuff like msn and whatsapp.. My setting are cut to a minimal except my screen is around 50% (kinda dark compared to my nexus s). The rest of the settings are all minimal like no vibration for ringer and key press, no key press tones.

For u to get 30hours per curate is pretty neat, compared to my 12 hours haha, maybe phone still new and intend to play with it a lot.. I don't use it for games or video. I think maybe I should just root this toy haha but afraid I might make it into a slim brick instead.

By the way, any of you notice the white on the arc has a yellowish tint? Or is it just me..... Was comparing it to my wife nexus s.

Yep...the white certainly isn't white however it is not very obvious looking directly to the screen. Try viewing the screen at the slightest angle and its obvious.

Tried typing white screen test at google.

i think someone had teach how to utilise the battery to get better perfomance ..
1. full charge 8hour
2. unplug - switch off phone - on
3. recharge for 1 hour
4. restart
5. charge again 1hour ...

nt sure if its work .. but nothing to lose if u try

Yes, the white has a yellowish tint. Compared to my Desire HD, the white is actually white.

But when viewing photos, the Arc has more warmth and richer (even with Bravia OFF)... for Desire HD, the photo seems a bit pale. (I have compared with the SAME photo with both devices side by side)

Maybe this is the compromise SE made for the "Reality Display"

help guys..my arc's camera lens has fingerprints on it..what should i do?does it affect the pics quality?

really not an big issue there. Just wipe it clean with some micro fiber cloth or the one used for glasses. Wont affect much on quality unless theres an inch of oil there

I just wipe with my shirt. Don't worry too much about it.

I'm very sure the camera glass cover for my N8 is scratch resistant type. And I think most brands are same, and I assume it's the same with Arc... but I can't positively confirm that
