i was having a batts problem earlier.. lately.. few days ago.. my batt went flat then after i charged it fully... now the battery super lasting.. same usage.. whatsapp alot and push email..

seriously duno y...

Ya, same case. Its like the phone or battery can study your behavior.. mine now can easily last for a whole day with 50% wifi usage and smses

finally, i had decided and bought arc silver, yay ~ currently still charging, need case now b4 using it

i feel wana uninstall it ... i had uninstall lotta preinstall app .. media server .. and alot system running service which eat alot of ram ..
now i got extra 50mb of ram .. and feel a little speed up of my device

Lovin' my 2 days old arc so far, no regrets letting go my iphone 4 and nexus s

The only issue I have is that the battery is depleting super fast sigh. Will let it run for another week and see how it goes. Just a quick question, does rooting the arc gives the benefit of saving battery and is it advisable to root a new phone?

How come when i receive sms,the tone is always the default?
Ive change to other tone edi,but still plays the same tone.

question for u
1. did u on 3g ? if yes pls switch to 2g
2. did u use camera ? if yes than u might wan to go clear the app in running service, coz camera app bug will keep drain ur batteries ..

so far .. im average user have more than 30hour of device alife time .. (on 2g + data + wifi + around 2hour of phone talking + alot whatsapp + light facebook + [not more than 30minute of total game play + youtube] )

and yes i did root .. im nt sure if it help to give batteries life..
but root giv me access to delete some stock app while always in the running service (this drain batteries and ram i think) now i had delete and no more longer see them in my running service ..
so in this case, yes it safe batteries & ram my bet ..

addon :
i tried install advance task killer yesterday ..
- easy for those who lazy to go in setting there kill running app ..
and i found out .. it auto shut down my wifi or data when the screen goes black .. and it drain around 3-5mb of ram in running service to keep ATK alife ..
so i uninstall it mainly coz it shut my data when screen goes dark .. this makes my gf scold me coz i duno her whatsapp msg arrive ..

Your custom mp3 tone is in the SD card folder right? This is a known Android 2.3 (not SE) bug.
