haha... yes, same here. my passengers behind very bising when it's hot day so usually if it's damn hot, i will turn OFF my Econ mode (so during traffic jams, the air cond still blows @ normal speed & engine doesn't auto-stop).

Since your car is now Cobra-ed, give us your num plate & location. We'll try break into your car and steal it... see if your $$ investment really works

for those who steal using crane - doesn't the Cobra come w/tilt sensors? any slight shift when the car is being lifted should set it off...

Don't like coil mats. Rubber mats look better and have better grip for your legs.

i'm sure yours is best bro, but IMHO, PVC is still PVC, no matter the quality. So I'll still try and hunt for my rubber. Found a few that sell OEM IN2 rubber mats but no shipping to MYS:

my tinting shop assures me it's legal and promises that if i kena saman by JPJ, just bring to him and he'll refund. so i'm not so worried if my tint meets puspakom's guidelines or not.

if they want to saman @ roadblock, i'll smile and tell them "pls go ahead". then bring receipt to my shop, ask him settle it himself.

Yeah, the stronger LL tints can prevent up to 32kgs of force against a window (it just buys you more time to get away, won't stop the fella breaking into yr window eventually if he keeps on whacking it).

My LL tint has security features... and 90% IRR reject rate. Meets my needs.. the next level up tint is 97% IRR... but costs RM1000 more. No point lah so expensive. Put a good car sunshade good enuff already. same effect

yes, i think u will need to tarik an addtl wiring from main batt all the way to the cargo light. might involve some plastic parts being removed to thread the wire... so run the risk of the pieces start to rattle.

i'm going to a few shops in town. then see which ones have it.

Hey guys, I just got back from accessories shop... finally got my DRLs installed. Oh yeah baby

Decided to choose Philips DRL-5... it's more expensive, but it's from a proven OEM (Philips) and it looks so damn nice. I tried out a few other made-in-China options... but after seeing the Philips one... gone lah. Fall in love oredi!

Got it installed @ my fav accessories shop in PG - Neuton. They're a bit more expensive than others, but their workmanship is pretty good.

They had to cut the black lower grille a bit... to fit the DRL-5 housing (just cut the vertical piece of plastic... saw it off a bit but it's not obvious). Then just tape the bottom of the DRL housing to the bottom grille. No need to drill holes etc.

All-in-all, took about 30 mins to install. Then test and it works. There are 2 options to run this DRL... can configure so it turns OFF when headlamps turn on, but I decided to have it ON all the time (looks nicer @ nite).

Total was around RM600 for the DRL + installation. If buy online & ship here, it's roughly same price.

So far, so good. Onto next big project - ICE

yeah, scouted around online and all over PG. Finally found one I like

Also installed my boot lamp today.... 12-set hi-power LED. Since there's no existing wiring cable, accessories shop had to put in wiring... and pull cable to the junction box under the glovebox:

remove the side box where the boot lamp should be, and thread a wire inside...







Less than RM50 total.. for installation + wiring + the actual LED kit.

my lights will be more obvious once i put in my HID 4000k

maybe i can climb into the rear compartment from the passenger cockpit. then try snap a pic that way
