My FC for travelling to KL this weekend 85% Highway (Cruise Control for 90km/h to 120km/h) & 15% City.


My FC for back from KL to Melaka today 90% Highway (Cruise Control for 90km/h to 120km/h & occasionally up to 140km/h just for overtaking) & 10% City.

Am pretty happy with the highway FC and performance

Now my Insight odometer just shown that I have traveled 1086KM & I had my 1 month service when it was 680KM

Don't think there will be any problem for this car to get >23km/l on highway if you drive within the speed limit

Yes got the cost of repairing the key slot that they fakap on the car which already bend and jammed the central lock total parts and labour was RM 4XX . They pay me back with a cheque within 2 weeks. My SA and Cobra also was very helpful during the incident.

So taking cobra connex is worth of investment will be renewing the services this June :-)

Folks; anyone know which showrooms still have ready stock of the Insight? Went to a couple of showrooms last weekend, and all were sold out. Restock of the Insight is said to be 6-8 months long as production was affected by the recent Japanese disaster.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

else waiting for the production to resume maybe by that time tax exemption over liao.

@westlife; Your reply doesn't help in the least. I have checked 6 dealers in and out of the Klang Valley. The reason why I would post in here is to leverage on people who would happen to know. If you know, a reply would be much appreciated. Otherwise, I would prefer if you simply did not reply.

@r3kahsttub, pity if my reply does not help you. As you did not provide enough information such as your location etc earlier on, I do not think anyone can help you in that case. I dun think if someone tell you that alor star dealer has stock, you will just rush over there to get one despite your origin. Therefore, calling yourself on those dealers nearby you isn't that more straightforward instead of camping here for answer.

I do not think any users like us can really know in depth that whether the dealers have stock or not, which they normally won't disclose such info to you unless you make the order. especially most ppl here already owned one insight already.

anyway, since you already asked 6 of them especially at the area which are not extremely high demand like KL etc, mostly i would suppose that no dealer now will take in new order as it is a nationwide decision by honda malaysia to ask all dealers to stop taking orders, as there are tons of existing orders to be fulfilled first.

I understand your frustration for not able to get the insight now. u could not blame anything now as people here who got it placed their orders much earlier even before the tsunami.

but good luck on your trying anyway. hope you will join the club soon.

has anyone installed a door visor (piece of plastic above the door to stop rain)... on their Insight?

my SA told me that the OEM door visor from Honda not out yet.
