Very easy on the foot, Econ mode, highway driving, release pedal when going down hill, only driver no passenger most of the time......I expect over 1000km for the first tank of petrol......but this driving style is a torture.....gonna get my first service done next week.

Wanna ask u guys who gone through 5k service. How was it?

I'm a bit skeptical on whether HM technician competent enough to properly maintain Honda Insight.

As i remembered, some of earlier Honda City with CVT (2003) was incorrectly maintain, using normal ATF despite CVTF which cause some earlier batch facing premature gearbox problem. So much for an authorized service center for doing that mistakes.

This time they are facing a very new tech hybrid vehicle. Anything can go wrong if they didnt conduct proper service and didnt have enough training & experience. Even worst as the car was not assemble by Honda Malaysia so the technical know-how is very limited. Can we trust them?

yes, need super patience.....but the fuel indicator drop very fast when approaching the E.  The light come up this morning, total clock 910km.

totally agree...that explains the reason on why my mileage went higher (20-21km/ltr) using cruise control..
initially, i thought using cruise control decrease fuel efficiency as it always accelerate to light-blue until it reaches the desired speed whenever the cruise control is activated...

but surprisingly, the end results shows that my car managed to clock higher mileage using cruise control compared to manual acceleration even though i've tried my best to keep the speedometer green most of the time..

I dun think so...especially for white color, if you dun apply wax at early stage, it became very difficult to get rid of those stains in future...

same here i applied last tues one day approval only, and my car will be ready on this wed. happy

actually the visor is quite useful. especially during rainy times. imagine ppl fart in the car during heavy rain...u know wat i mean?

What do you guys recommend for Tinting? Anyone done theirs yet?
Vkool? Llumar? or EcoTint?
They are all ard 1.5k isn't ?

start he keep chase me from behind and i turn to left line and let him go ma.. mana tau he follow pulak

i pun start angry and kaki gatal, press pedal until finish turn gear to "S" mode, speed RPM i think reach 6.5-7K, after 1km++ i look behind, he was far far away...

BTW, i lost my leaf    and from 16.5km/L drop to 14.5km/L

the gear "s" is superb, u wil never know power for hybrid.. hahaha

for my 1k service, i jus walk-in to sc, take around 1.30hours to settle everything. i think they jus simply check la.. nth change.

I've done my first service, I was told that the first service is just inspection, just normal inspection. I asked whether got check alignment or balancing because recently I hit a pothole, he said need to add money  .

He also recommend me pedal lock (locktech) and autolock (lock when brake is press only), damage is RM580 (Locktech) + RM220 (Autolock) = RM800. Both also need wiring, as he told me this is done by Honda and warranty is 1 year.

He also advice me to fold the side mirror whenever possible when parking, make it a practice, he say the side mirror easy to spoilt and sensitive, not sure how true is it but no harm to fold it whenever possible.

Service at 3S Honda USJ.

my SA even tolds me if i install other brand of tint than vkool (which is their official partner) will void warranty also, because when they install tint they need to spray water or what will may cause prob to the electronic components of insight.

That was my concern also before this mod.

But confirm, u can disconnect the cables and reconnect without problem. Reset back the clock, bass, treble, fader, balance etc and off u go.
