Hi guys, I'm back, reached Penang at around 6pm. Average riding speed was 120kmh @ 7k RPM on my meter.
Average fuel consumption is 2.8l/100km - that's about 5.3 cents per km. |

...and some tissue to wipe off the sweat when desperate looking for petrol station...
@Are_keem: What's the full tank distance of an LC that you use to estimate? Since some of us might be doing a mid-May trip, just wondering. My RGV is 170~190km. So, I'll be looking for petrol station start 120km liao. No spare bottle. |

@thianz: do you miss the 125z? but then, since u modded it gao gao, sure very hard to maintain loh. for plugs, if you dowan ngk copper core, can go for G-Power of iridium, or Denso iridium, or even champion (supposedly the best, but hard to find).
Added on May 2, 2011, 5:21 pm@shyan: it's the front tyre. Added on May 2, 2011, 5:22 pm@fred: don't worry, 2stroke jam no problem one, just let it cool down can liao. This post has been edited by alexei: May 2 2011, 05:22 PM |

QUOTE(0163119779 @ May 2 2011, 05:51 PM) Front tyre ...AFter i try on straight highway...= diffrent road...Its no problem at all..only that road hv problem only... This I experience before but before I fixed it, sold the bike liao. I know it's the tyre, because it didn't happen before I changed it.The steering just keep moving left right cannot control, so have to slow down one. If you hold it down, the whole bike will goyang anyway, so no point tightening the steering column or add damper. One of the thing to check is the 'speed rating' of the tyre. Is it Maxxis? Added on May 2, 2011, 6:15 pm QUOTE(Are_keem @ May 2 2011, 06:05 PM) @alexei : I see. Me too, thinking to have some ride after finishing the exam on 12th (balik kampung on 13th). Need to find riding partners (I didn't worry about my ride's health, but other external factors that made me didn't have the gut to ride alone on some roads). Yeah, it's better to have a buddy riding along. When tired, just switch to the back. Riding alone can be tiring, constantly looking at the road, at the front, at the cars, at the side mirror, and the amoi...This post has been edited by alexei: May 2 2011, 06:17 PM |
