@Spayz: Look for 'cafe racer'. That's the style I think you like. QUOTE » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « To me, the UNI filter is easier to wash. I've had enough of cleaning those wire mesh filters. Plus, I plan to make a velocity stack (like those trumpet one), attach to the carb, and cover the end with the UNI. KNN cannot work this way. Should be fine for a test ride - the shop needs to give new customers a taste to make business. Remember you don't have license for it, so go easy on the throttle.

That Duke is nothing like a Streetfighter. A CBR1000RR without all the fairings - that's a Streetfighter.

@Aaron: In theory, 2stroke runs at lower compression, so it's runs cooler than a 4stroke. That's before the powerband where the exhaust backpressure increases the compression. 500cc 4-cylinder 2 stroke racer is already hard to control. Any bigger cc would be impossible to ride.
@016: Not sure about that...

@patrick: They're everywhere. Not just penang. Who stepped on you this time?
The phrase patrick posted meant 'Those who look down on other people'.
@Aaron: B-King is a naked Hayabusa.

I'm going 5k with the current Motul transoil. Not that I support the brand, but I think this is the only reasonable priced 10W-30 EO for my 2-stroke gearbox.
@patrick: tell la... who got the dog-eye?

For my case, I'm using a mineral EO and target next change at 5000 km. I've ordered an Iridium visor for LS2, arriving next tuesday. I'll post a pic and if you want, probably get one for you. Agak the price is RM55+, the taukeh haven't confirm until the salesman send it.

@016: No hard feelings. Giving it some thought, I've decided to type it here, hopefully to help you make a better choice. There's no right or wrong here. I'm not telling you what to do, but maybe some recommendations. I think you have a point, but I do not agree with your persistence to getting 'ORI' footrest. In my opinion, ori or not ori, they are the same. When I say same, I meant: - Workmanship: ori or not, they use the same mechanism for the gear shift, which is the screw on rubber mounting. Even the ori footrest will bend like the one you have now. I'm just worried you spend another RM300++ to be disappointed again. Though honestly, I do not hope so.
- You are willing to lose RM100 after using that footrest for a few days, while some of us earn that much in a week.
- Material grade: We have Thai made, China made, or even local made. Unless they specify which grade of aluminium is used, to me, they are the same material - normal grade aluminium CNC to shape. Really good footrest would be something like Aluminium 6061 forged to shape. Or, perhaps something like Enkei made in Japan.
- Packaging: Seriously, the box doesn't mean much. My experience tells me, fancy packaging only means I'm paying extra for it. For imported goods like Thai brand, the boxes are sometimes thrown away to make space for more items to be brought in at the same time.
For that thing that bent, I would just recommend you get a stainless steel bolt and nut and install it. The footrest will break before you bend that thing.

@016: If someone wants ur footrest, and you're happy with the price, just sell loh. Don't spend too much time. @vaizard: I think that's a common problem with the coolant sensor need service.
