I'm using CM3-5PM1 and installed it at the roof area which is just above my master room. for me the noise is quite ok. it sounded like someone started their car engine when i'm in the room. u can hear it but its not that distracting.

Hi..i think i need to get a new pump already. My grundfos pump gave me a lot of problem oredi (maybe it ageing oredi cos previous bought second hand from my uncle). It need to off and on the switch only the pump run..after a while the pump go into idle and i need to off and on again the pump only run. Troublesome.
Previously oredi change the controller to third party brand kawa (thought thats the problem)..initial ok after few month used but the problem back again..need to off and on arrghhh.
Any recommendation grundfos model? House 5 bathroom but normally only two bath room used together. Others bathroom seldom use. Budget less than RM 1.5 to 1.8k. any promotion now?

Hi guys, any idea how do i release air from the water pump? Currently my pump keep turning on even only low amount of water is used. My model is grundfos CM3-5PM1

there's no air to release. it doesnt use a pressure tank

Forgot to mention i did add on a pressure tank from another grundfos model.

This pump controller is not for pressure tank.

I'm using Uni-E CM5-4. I can hear the humming noise when I'm standing below the roof concrete slab where the pump is installed. I don't hear this humming noise when I'm at the roof area. Just wondering whether there's a logical explanation to this humming noise.

I was intended to install Teral pump with 0.75HP for double storey house ( 1 bathroom @ ground floor + 3 bathroom @1st floor).

If you are staying in a bungalow or big house with 7 or more bathrooms. The more bathrooms = more water usage = u need a bigger pump. However, the bigger the pump = the higher the risk of pipe burst. So if u are worried about this, can consider getting INVERTER water pump.

Grundfos CMBE5-62 will automatically adjust the pressure and speed up when there is more demand for water. Instead of buying 1 big pump that always go FULL SPEED given too much stress on the pipes, get inverter pump, it supplies the perfect water pressure based on demand.
