check the tank's float, if it is dripping change to a better 1.

can also add a pressure tank next to ur scala2.

Thanks zheilwane for the tips. Really appreciate it.

After trying everything and with advice, I got my contractor to pull another PVC pipe ,on Mar/16, to my roof tank so Scala2 now only focus on my direct pipe and no more problem now with scala2.

Have u try to slow down the fill up of the tank. In my case on unrelated issue, I can slow down the tank refill quite significantly, almost to off position without any issue of water running out. There is 3 adults in my house. The tank will just slowly refill throughout the day.

Sorry, just saw your post. I got my contractor to add another PVC pipe from main straight to the roof tank and my King Kong tank without going through Scala2 and it solved the issue.

I’m using Grundfos pump with booster. Recently I heard the pump running for few seconds up to 10 seconds then only got water pressure on the bathroom tap. May I know is it spoilt? Can I be repaired?

Hi, just wanted to check, from your explanation, it seems that you have a loop? Where the pump is pumping the inlet to your tank previously?
So you solve this by removing the loop, having a direct pipe from main to your tank inlet?

I'm deciding if I need to install a pump in my house now, just finished renovation and redid the piping. So my whole house piping comes from both main and tank. But if I were to install a pump on my tank outlet, I think I will have the same issue as you?

The master bathroom water direct was laid via the roof of this 3 storey building, can scale 2 strong enough to boost the water for the whole house?

You have to prim the pump. The presence of air trap inside could cause it to stop. Check the manual how to do it.

Can i know any video of priming the pump?

If we installed the pipe ~meter~sand filter~water tank~pump~ kitchen+washrooms. If water tank running out of water, we bypass the tank, can any pump can still working fine by sucking the water thru the sand filter?

I would like to ask around whether which Grundfos pump is suitable for the following piping system.

Yeap this is my plan too. But some said better let it pressurize. Not good for piping if keep pressure and depressure when pump off..

Not sure but pls re-check. For shower always fresh water from meter. For WC and other things using OT. Kicthen and washing machine all fresh water from meter.

The pump must be after the OT.

It is an old house; I plan not to run whole new piping. So, trying to retrofit so both T2 and T3 will have water.

Nevertheless, I have already finished installing the pump based on the diagram shown. Now facing pump running on/off every minute, already check no leaking and now suspecting the pressure in the pipe issue. If it is a pressure issue is there a way to overcome this?
