already googled to find an answer, but cannot find...

when i go into "wireless and network" > "wi-fi settings"...and i've already connected to the wi-fi network of my choice, i noticed that the phone still keeps on scanning and scanning...is there a way to stop it from continuously scan for wi-fi networks? i can't find a way to stop scanning...

or maybe install an apps to do this?

yesterday i just bought a u mobile sim pack
when i plug in to my phone, at signal there showing a R word
that was weird, previously use Maxis simcard don't have the R word / logo
then i scroll down the status bar from top, it showing umobile2g, but at menu > setting > about phone > status > network is showing My Celcom ??
lol ?? i know U mobile using Celcom coverage, but should be showing umobile2g instead showing My Celcom right ??

furthermore, my phone number also showing unknown for my u mobile sim card
how come ?? and once put my u mobile sim card, my gmail ask me to login again
plug in back maxis simcard also same
how ?

restarting via home menu doesnt work.

but rebooting via power button, works wonders.

I just noticed, it wasnt only gallery not functioning, but the all games apps. Seems like the apps are running but, the graphics isnt there. Just black screen. Heck, the sound effects are there minus the graphic. I wonder what went wrong..

hey, I have no clue on your problem. I bet you've restarted the phone many times. Perhaps, its showing My Celcom because you are on 3g conection (roaming).

Oh ya, I am interested in getting Umobile sim pack and subscribe to their mobile internet service. Its pretty cheap for rm28/month with 1GB data usage.

hey guys, i heard that android market is open source... may i know what does it mean?

phone in sending out gps location (in sms) whenever send out sms (particulary to blackberry phone).
only happens when phone is connected to wireless/3G.

any idea why this happens?how to prevent?

previously shown as my celcom due to the network mode i choose gsm only, that why showing my celcom
now i choose gsm / wcdma (auto), and use the unlimited internet, very fast @@

*any idea about why my gmail keep ask me login again when change sim card ??
