Flashing ROM technically won't wipe your data / apps.
BUT!!!
If you flash a new ROM, the requirement in order to booting into a new ROM, you are compulsory to wipe your data (aka factory reset).

Their steps usually "ALMOST" the same.
1. Backup Nandroid (in case go wrong)
2. Wipe your Data
3. Flash ROM
4. Flash Gapps
5. Reboot

PS. We call it CLEAN FLASH. Clean Flash mean, wipe data and flash a new ROM. Dirty Flash mean, flash a ROM without wiping.

Btw, I have just root my smartphone.

[What I meant by rooting was to install the KingUser app in my pc, and then plugged my smartphone to root]

I am not sure what the fad about rooting is all about.

[1] There are no noticeable increase in my Internal storage.

[2] Still unable to uninstall many bloatwares [it shows as 'unremovable' in the KingUser list of apps]

However, on the positive side, I noticed that the Interface changed a bit, but that's about it.

Maybe is not fully rooted. Try install supersu by chain fire from playstore. Use that one as your primary supersu apps to control root capability. And then install another apps call system apps remover. Then try grant it supersu right and uninstall those bloatware.

Yesterday I play around with my friend's ASUS Zenfone 2.
I find that it is already very fast, somemore with 4Gb ram, 32Gb ROM.

Wonder whether those flagship phones really much faster than this one? (Flagship phones such as Note5 etc.... are double the price of Zenfone 2).

Funny....i can see my video at "my files/ dcim/ gallery/ sd card". But when i clicked at gallery fr my home page, there is no video, only can c pictures in the respective folders. Any idea how to solve this?

Is it your phone support MicroSD Card and your file are inside your MicroSD Card?

somehow, the videos r not populated in Gallery. Tried google the issues, still cant fix it...

Try install 3rd party apps like "QuickPic" to fix this problem. Stock Gallery could be could not be able to read those Video in your MicroSDCard.

Yupe. All fixed via QuickPic now. I wonder what happen to the stock gallery..

hey guys, my note 4 storage space is not enough eventhough i have inserted a sd card and moved all the media & pictures to the card. basically i have moved whatever can be moved to the card including apps. uninstalled many unnecessary apps as well but it still shows insufficient internal storage. anyone has any solution to this problem? thanks a bunch!
