It could be local manufacturer warranty or import manufacturer warranty. Try ask them for verification.

I am interested in Zuk Z1, due to cheap and good specs but only have to flash a custom rom. I found the links, https://xq55.app.box.com/ZUKZ1ROMs ,can someone explain to me the differences between ZUK Z1 ROMs Cyanogen ZIP and OTA ? But then under ZIP, it has fastboot, signed and debugable again, inside fastboot folder, it has a lot of files, cm-12.1-YOG4PASxxx-ham-signed-fastboot.zip again. Really appreciate if someone can guide me.

OTA mean Over The Air, usually is a Zip file downloaded into your devices and update via your Recovery.
Fastboot mean you only can flash using Command Prompt way on your PC.

hi guys, any j7 users here or general samsung users?

i bought j7 but the keyboard was different than the asus that i used before

basically i wanted to use

handwriting for chinese
qwerty for english

however, j7 only allows swapping of keyboard with the same type, like handwriting for both chinese and english.

if i chnaged it to samsung keyboard with qwerty, it doesnt allow me to change back to handwriting unless i go to setting > keyboard and set main keyboard to handwriting keyboard again

any fixes?

screenshots? how? sorry smartphone illiterate...
(FYI, after disabling suspected virus and rebooting, I get extra 140mb free space back. BTW, someone told me to reformat - what is that in s/phone?)

further info: phone = lenovo, suspect virus because battery drained very fast when data connection on. TY.

hi NightFelix,

some 'apps, plugin' under apps - their disable buttons are already dimmed - cannot disable (or enabled either). Some like ConfigUpdater, Basic Daydreams, GooglePartnerSetup, KeyChain, MagicSmokeWallpapers, Omacp, PhaseBeam, PicasaUploader, VCalender, VoiceCommand, VpnDialog- unsure whether will disable important programs. Some like WorldClock, VoiceUnlock, FusedLocation, EngineerMode - their Disabled and ForceStop button are already dimmed - cannot disabled.

you advised to disable them - will virus continue operate after disable? Factory reset - will reset kill the virus at root vs erase data only? ???!!!

I would appreciate if you could screen shots all of them.. Because some system apps can't disable by users, it require root to do that..

(sorry for late reply because difficult to take screenshots AND post message from phone).

one screenshot - both stop&disable button dimmed; another screenshot - both buttons not dimmed (I pressed stop but restart later) - but don't know can disable w/o disabling other impt programs.

got many other small apps like mentioned but don't know can disable or not - maybe their memory/battery usage is neglible?

is rooting phone easily done? (google and found a few rooting program but are they like safe, no consuming too much phone memory, etc?), But other people cannot simply delete apps in future when phone rooted? ie. no solve one problem but other potential problems surfaced. if difficult to control future outcome, can I just ignore them apps that cannot be disabled....or just do factory reset? your opinion?

(FYI of other readers - screenshots done by holding power off button and volume down button simultaneously - MUST hold down both together for a while until screen capture sound comes out - one method of screen capture which needs many many attempts).

another screenshot - some apps I think shouldn't be there (but they are dimmed at both stop&disable button).
