only the Maybankard 2 American Express earns you 5X Treats Points and 5% cash back on weekends (capped at RM50/month. The Visa only reward you 1X TP.

If the night club you go to don't accept AMEX, that that place "che-kai" one hahaha. The high class ones,  RM100K also can if you got credit  tongue.gif
gerrardling, I know you meant respect when you say uncle  wink.gif  BUT can you please make me happy and feel younger by calling me Bro  blush.gif Or you purposely call me UNCLE  blink.gif
If you really spend a lot and want only cash back, then get American Express Charge Card and enroll into turbo points and get 3X Membership Rewards Points where you can redeem unlimited cash back equivalent to 1.5%. But seriously, do check out the MBB 2 AMEX which gives you equivalent to 5X reward points where you can redeem for vouchers equivalent to 2.5%, that's 1.5% more than HLB 1%. Or if you shop in 1U, can redeem Treats Points like cash with RCUBED. Go read the link gerradling posted to my blog.

Where is the info for the Membership Rewards Turbo points ?

Found it... RM100 per annum as fees brows.gif
Unless we can spend >RM20000 in a year, it's not worth to subscribe to MR Turbo program...

NEW citiibank shell card launched

https://www.citibank.com.my/english/credit-...d.htm#promotion

the rebate is based on tier

1  300 - 999  4.0%  250
2  1000 - 2499  6.0%  500
3  Above 2500  8.0%  800

Citibank favorite to keep your rebates
QUOTE
(a) if the Rebate on Shell Fuel Spend earned by the Principal Cardholder meets the Minimum Rebate Amount for Redemption of RM20, the Rebate on Shell Fuel Spend will be automatically redeemed against the Principal Cardholder’s next Shell Fuel charges as reflected in his/her Co-Brand Gold Card statement of account in the following month after Citibank has processed all transactions during the preceding month; or

(b) if the Rebate on Shell Fuel Spend earned by the Principal Cardholder is below the Minimum Rebate Amount for Redemption of RM20, the Rebate on Shell Fuel Spend earned will not be redeemed into the account of the Principal Cardholder until the Rebate on Shell Fuel Spend is accumulated to at least the Minimum Rebate Amount for Redemption ;

Basically you have to spend retail to get your higher rebate on your fuel purchases.
RM250 x 4% = RM10 rebate per month
RM500 x 6% = RM30 rebate per month
RM800 x 8% = RM64 rebate per month

Basically, you should get the card based on the petrol pumped per pump at Shell....
Only at RM800 per month would you get RM64, more than other cash-back CC (RM50 for OCBC Titanium/Maybankard2 AMEX)

To qualify for Tier 1, you need to spend RM50 per month + RM250 Shell fuel to get RM10 back... which is nett 3.33% Cash Back
To qualify for Tier 2, you need to spend RM500 per month + RM500 Shell fuel to get RM30 back... which is nett 3.00% Cash Back
To qualify for Tier 3, you need to spend RM1700 per month + RM800 Shell fuel to get RM64 back... which is nett 2.56% Cash Back

OCBC Titanium Mastercard/Maybankard2 AMEX beats the crap of these offers with it's solid 5% Cash Back

Few weeks earlier, SCB Customer Service told me that I can maintain a SCB Mastercard(Supplementary) with my SCB Business Visa(Principal).
Subsequently, I asked for card cancellation of the SCB Mastercard.

Now Sales CS (from Price Solutions) says I had to maintain my SCB Mastercard(Principal) to ensure my SCB Mastercard(Supplementary) is active.... mad.gif vmad.gif
BUT... SCB will credit 11,000 ChoicePoints for me to offset the GST for the SCB Mastercard(Principal) in August 2011. brows.gif

1.do not want to read your blog and write up, as it is your thought only. blush.gif
2.great rabates, rewards and rates you can check their website for more details.
3.Who say must put your own picture or family members?
cant i put tattoo, my F458 or Hayabusa? or even my bungalow? blush.gif
see, its all your thought only. Too superstitious since you mention fengshui and cut your face stuff blush.gif

there is term and condition in choosing the right image to put in your cc, so dont be a fool by putting Platinum wording or black background. blush.gif

Which is the best card to use to pay AIA insrance premium, assuming I have no control over which day of the week it is going to be charged to my credit card?
MBB2 Amex, Visa
OCBC Titanium
SCB JustOne.
HSBC Gold

I think best is MBB2 Amex. Get the 5xTP

When going out shopping, dinner,... how do you remember which card gives the most discount or benefits? I'm thinking of storing all these information using a mobile phone. My mobile phone is outdated. Time to change a new phone. What's a good phone that can do what I just described?
