Early Settlement of Maybank EzyPay (0% Installment)
- Faxed request letter : 3 May 2011 (1pm)
- Full settlement amount appeared on M2U : 5 May 2011

Very efficient when Maybank wants to collect debt from you....
Will cancel the CC once the payment is settled next month ;-)

OMG !! SCB Business Visa changes their rebate rate....from 0.5% unlimited to 0.3% RM100 per month

Overall cash-back is 0.3% + 0.5% (from points redemption) = 0.8%

Maybe losing too much money from the FREE RM228 promotion

@hye: SCB ChoicePoints can be converted to Cash... RM25 = 5000 ChoicePoints

Time to find another 1% Cash Rebate Credit Card... why CIMB don't come out with something better than Maybankard2 ?

HLB is known as stingy banks, i dont think they will waive GST for you. but u can enter their promotion, top XXX customer spent $$$ can get it. i believe that is just a gimmick to attract customer to apply their card

Aiya.... wait for roadshow for the Sales Agent to cough out RM50 for me... still got 9 months to go on the SCB Business Visa

Greeting!

I made an international transaction to my Maybank account.
After 3 days I received the money I sent, but it was under Current Balance category instead of Available Balance.

So, what Current Balance is? Can I withdraw my money or I need to do some confirmation on the international transaction?
Thank you.
*
The money is in Float stage... i.e. Maybank is earning interest for their own use.
Give it 1-2 days to show amount in Available Balance

did anyone own citibank credit card? the interest rate shall be 17.50% annual however for the past few month, i find that the finance charges is not tally to my unclear outstanding amount. seems like they impose 3% monthly. outstanding 500 unclear but finance charges is RM15. omg?
*
Don't spend higher than you can afford lah... then you won't need to worry about CC interest rate !!!
I'm not worried if banks charge 100% p.a. cos we all pay in FULL every month before the due date

How much only will the cashback be credited for Citibank cashback platinum card?
Let's say if i cancel the card before meeting the required cashback amount, will i still get the credit or get void?
*
As per the Citibank Cash-back Platinum TnC

3. Any cash rebate earned will be credited into the Cardmembers’ account every month provided that the Cardmember has accumulated RM50 equivalent amount in cash rebates in that month. In the event that the cash rebate is less than RM50 for a particular month, the total cash rebate amount will be carried forward to the following month and will be taken into account in determining the Cardmember’s cash rebate entitlementfor such subsequent month.

Just posted an article on free access to LCCT Plaza Premium Lounge with My Credit Cards and Debit Cards and my blog. Click below to see the UOB PB cards where I said the 4th to 8th numbers were nice.

"Why so many cards? Well, with 7 or maybe 6 since the UOB PB VISA and MC may be considered as one, my entire family can enter KLIA or LCCT Plaza Premium Lounge smile.gif"

Do you mean that you can bring 6 other people even there's one principal holder for each of the 6/7 cards ?

It's RM50 before credit back to your account.
That's how Citibank traps you with their T&C of holding back the Cash-Back you earn....

Burger King in Midvalley can just show CIMB/DA CC to get 10% discount.. that outlet has no CC terminal, thus you pay via cash.

Normal SOP from their Service Recovery team to offer the 11k ChoicePoints to those who gave the reason "GST issue".
Loving it !!! I wish Maybank/CIMB can do the same.

guys, want to ask something. let say cc expiry date is 06/14, is rm50 GST and annual will be charged into that cc on every month of june or in july ?
*
Best to call CS to confirm the GST charged month. Basing on the expiry date maybe wrong, as you may get upgraded cards and the date may change, just like my DA.

Merchants still can charge customers even without signature slips. I purchased some stuffs in Guardian last year and the cashier gave me the signed merchant's slip and kept the customer's slip without signature, and I also accidentally took the signed merchant's copy. My purchase was still charged anyway.
*
Agreed !!!... the signature is not so important as it's not counter-checked. I've "forged" a few times

Today used my Standard Chartered CC to get 50% of total bill (excl alcoholic drinks) at Tony Roma's 1 Mont Kiara.
This offer valid on 21 and 22 May 2011 only...

And with the same receipt, gets me free parking at 1 Mont Kiara. rclxms.gif
