I usually park at Exam Hall car park, sometimes monkey hill and Building T (near electrical engineering faculty).
I think there are spaces for parking in front of the 2nd college entrance gate if you are lucky enough.

I don't think the university patrol will check if you have sticker (trust me, they don't bother as long as you don't create traffic problem, don't park at someone's allocated parking lot and no one has made any complaints. They might only stop you when you enter from certain gates, e.g. INTAN gate and sometimes pj/kl gate during weekend if you don't have the sticker). But you do have to bear the risk of your car being clamped especially when you park at the roadside.

My advice is, just get a sticker. It saves you from worries and troubles. All you have to do is to apply online, get your documents ready and pay the RM3 (cheap rite?) at 12th college during office hours.

Alright thanks for the information icon_rolleyes.gif . But unfortunately they only allowed fourth year undergraduate students to apply for the sticker if i'm not mistaken. cry.gif

I thought you can apply sticker when you are third year?
Well anyway, you can use your senior's name to apply sticker for you, although you need to bring some documents and it could be a little troublesome tongue.gif Better be safe and get a sticker IMO smile.gif

I'm not an undergraduate student, so I'm unaware of this rule existed.
It was never stated in the rules of application.
If I were you, I'd still try applying. (It's at the MyUM portal. Unless you couldn't access the site with your student login...)

It doesn't work. You can't use someone else's name to apply sticker for your car unless you are using other's name to apply for his car (but if then who would lend you the sticker? One person can only apply one sticker.)
The car has to be registered under your name (preferably), if not, you will need a letter from your parents whom either of them is the owner of the car.

Hello,

I got offer to pursue master in International Studies (Mixed Mode) and master in Economics (coursework) at UM business school.

1. I am now working in Gov statutory body (badan berkanun)
2. My career target is to work at Gov embassy at oversea
3. Or maybe as lecturer / NGO at oversea
4. In short, I am aiming for job beyond Malaysia

Do you think having international studies is worth it?

Hi all,

I've been offered a place in the "MASTER OF INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONIC AND CONTROL ENGINEERING".

In the offer letter and related documents they have invited me to the Majlis Meraikan Calon Baru Pascasiswazah on the 3rd of February. Is this something like an orientation program?

Also, what are the normal steps for enrollment? Do I have to settle any payment or documents before the 3rd?

The registration date for Engineering faculty is said to be on the 8th of February and if I am not wrong, I'll have to submit the Medical checkup form but they have stated that it should be verified by the internal doctor. Should I do this before the registration date or can it be done on the 8th?

Also, does anyone know how the class schedules will be? I was told that it will be after office hours and weekends. Usually what time is the class on weekdays?
Is it possible for me to work and complete this masters program?

Hi all, I've been looking for the Master program in Engineering with UM. However just to get some feedbacks from the students/graduates from UM, is it really difficult to score well in the papers?

I'm not sure about their postgraduate programmes, but for their undergraduate programmes, memorizing all the lecture slides+tutorials+tests would net you an A easily, as none of the final exam questions will come out from other sources.. sweat.gif sweat.gif

You do research masters or academic masters?

If academic then I believe it is easier than research. In my experience, UM papers are not really exceptionally harder than other uni. I compared with my friends who studied in other public university and private university, it is about the same. I just grad masters from UM and I think it is okay.

Hello everyone!!! Is this thread still alive?? 3 months left to finish my study here as a pasum student. Now i'm having difficulties in choosing courses for my degree. Back then i used to love chemistry but now it is such a pain in the ass 😢😢 even though i still got an A for the subject,i truly feel nothing. I thought i will do well in physics but i didnt manage to score an A,i was thinking to study engineering but i dont think i can with my grade. I'm a physical student and I'm kind of interested in programming.I do well in math and I'm wondering what course uses lots of math and programming? Hope you guys can help me!! Much love!

I think they only offer a subject in short semester only if there are people who request the subject to be offered(must be at least more than 5 people lah).
