As far as I remember, for registration we first need to prepare all the necessary documents, including the research proposal (which has been checked by your supervisors), then submit them to the registrar within the IPS building. Upon approval, you will be given a letter (which expires after 3- 6 months). You will have to register officially before the letter expires

For the official registration (like the ones we are having in the IPS building this few weeks), you will need to pay fees, provide medical certificate and X-ray, sign up for um mail etc.
Do refer to ips.um.edu.my for more details, the entire suggested protocols are shown there

Medicine student in UM,do we really need 90+ co-curriculum marks to get into the course?

if you are comparing with my batch, that would be a yes. But there are some odd case in which my friend who got 4.0 from matric with full co-curriculum marks got into UMS, which is the 5th choice in his UPU while not all medic student in UM got 100 co-curriculum marks. So i think it also depends on luck tough. Its a rough year for my batch since many matric 4.0 student got throw to UMS,unimas,utem,uthm and etc while govt trying to make themselves look like savior by sending some of them to private uni with JPA scholarship.\

So my advice to you, ignore about your co-curriculum marks when you apply, just list it down like what you wanted if you didint get the earlier choices ( i would assume that you get 4.0 since u are so worried about co-curriculum ) and wishes for best luck.

Based on your 3.96 CGPA, yes you still got high chances... but the selection process I think UM not merely based on ur CGPA..

any part time Master research students/graduates from FSKTM here? How did you cope up with your study while working? Did you need to update your supervisor on weekly basis? Or do you need to take frequent annual leave just to meet your supervisor during official working hours?

Just completed my medical check up today .. demm, the blood test should not be compulsory for the part timer postgraduate Malaysian students .. not only wasted hundred ringgit for the blood test .. it's hurt too

Just attend the SGS/faculty briefing today ... walawei, didn't know whether can commit to the mix mode especially on research within 2 years
