QUOTE(Irfan2397 @ Apr 27 2011, 04:57 PM) as i ve said, if u already ve a BB, then PlayBook is the natural choice... if not, there are alternatives that can do the same thing, if not better, at a cheaper price... |

well, they said they will support apps written for Android 2.3+... not too sure wat RIM mean by that, since technically speaking u can get apps written for Android 1.0 to run on Android 2.3 as well...

QUOTE(RayKazansky @ Apr 28 2011, 11:32 PM) meaning minimal (if not none) 3rd party support...think of the bootloader as the BIOS in a computer... with no access to or bypass of the bootloader, u can't even root it, not to mention custom ROMs... and Motorola has been pretty unfriendly (almost to the pt of hostile) in this field with their notorious "e-Fuse" in the Droid/Milestone series and Defy... Moto has allowed the e-Fuse in Xoom (and subsequent models in the future) to be switchable... but u need it to be "on" in order to receive OTA updates, or servicing... y can't they juz be a little more friendly like SE and Samsung who have made clear that their future models (new Xperia series included) will have the bootloader unlocked? |

QUOTE(eugenechiuu @ Apr 29 2011, 09:01 AM) That I know.. But LYN themselves were saying it's gonna be around Rm1.5k without keyboard and RM2k with keyboard when it comes out... they ve to... else when Android comes in, it will be a hard battle...Lol anyways, iPad2 launch is crazy in Malaysia, I never expected there're ppl queuing from midnight until morning for it, such phenomenons are only seen in foreign countries usually... rit now i think Apple's strategy is to grab as much market as possible... |

QUOTE(eugenechiuu @ May 1 2011, 09:22 AM) hmm, Incredible S, Xperia Arc, etc are all below rm2k...even Optimus 2X as well... i am more interested to see how Galaxy SII and Sensation will be priced... Added on May 1, 2011, 11:53 am QUOTE(PF T.J. @ May 1 2011, 09:02 AM) Unfortunately Asus Malaysia chicken-ed out and become like Toshiba's FB page where we cannot post anything anymore... Its all one-sided news now Don't visit them anymore because of that lol a one-sided communication is going to fail, especially in social websites like FB... i am really impressed with how businesses in Australia take advantage of FB to connect with their customers... take a look like Logitech Australia FB page...
