the tablets juz keep coming... Sony (not Sony Ericsson) is the latest to join the foray, and 2 models at the same time...

Sony S1:
9.4" display
Android 3.0 Honeycomb
"Off-center of gravity design"
NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor
Front and rear cameras
Wi-Fi and 3G/4G connectivity

and the Sony S2:
Two 5.5" 1024 x 480 screens
Android 3.0 Honeycomb
NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor
Front and rear cameras
Wi-Fi and 3G/4G connectivity

Both tablets are PlayStation certified like the Xperia Play... expected 2011 Q3 launch, no price available yet...

But prefer pb but  cry.gif ipad has more apps ,and already tried gtab but not nice also prefer ipad than g-tab
*
so, y dun i juz take Honeycomb from the start?

as i ve said, if u already ve a BB, then PlayBook is the natural choice... if not, there are alternatives that can do the same thing, if not better, at a cheaper price...

Support is one thing, how reliable on th Pb when run android apps still unknown
*
well, if RIM is serious abt it then it should be a pretty easy task for them... Android is open sourced, they can do whatever they like so that the apps will work in the BBT OS...

Meaning?
*
meaning minimal (if not none) 3rd party support...

think of the bootloader as the BIOS in a computer... with no access to or bypass of the bootloader, u can't even root it, not to mention custom ROMs...

and Motorola has been pretty unfriendly (almost to the pt of hostile) in this field with their notorious "e-Fuse" in the Droid/Milestone series and Defy...

Moto has allowed the e-Fuse in Xoom (and subsequent models in the future) to be switchable... but u need it to be "on" in order to receive OTA updates, or servicing...

y can't they juz be a little more friendly like SE and Samsung who have made clear that their future models (new Xperia series included) will have the bootloader unlocked?

That I know.. But LYN themselves were saying it's gonna be around Rm1.5k without keyboard and RM2k with keyboard when it comes out...

Lol anyways, iPad2 launch is crazy in Malaysia, I never expected there're ppl queuing from midnight until morning for it, such phenomenons are only seen in foreign countries usually...
*
they ve to... else when Android comes in, it will be a hard battle...

rit now i think Apple's strategy is to grab as much market as possible...

Unfortunately Asus Malaysia chicken-ed out and become like Toshiba's FB page where we cannot post anything anymore...
Its all one-sided news now  shakehead.gif
Don't visit them anymore because of that lol
*
hmm, now that's bad for business...

a one-sided communication is going to fail, especially in social websites like FB...

i am really impressed with how businesses in Australia take advantage of FB to connect with their customers... take a look like Logitech Australia FB page...
