hmm.gif Yup, that's true. But if you just say 'pump ISO' someone might not sure what he means. Just want to be more clear blush.gif

I'm not sure how low you need to go for that picture, you can test and see. The other things you need to consider is where you're focusing, focal length and others. You can learn more about it here. It's called depth of field.

At high aperture (e.g. f1.8), the subject of where you're focusing is shart and the background is blurred. This is called bokeh. Google it and you will learn more. biggrin.gif

ISO is more to light. Higher ISO will give you more 'light', but more noise if your camera doesn't have good ISO perfomance. So when taking picture, higher ISO can achieve faster shutter speed/lower aperture. I don't know how to explain in detail so ask uncle Google to teach you tongue.gif

How's the performance of Tokina 12-24 f4? Compared to Nikkor 12-24? hmm.gif

Wanna get an UWA to replace my 17-50. 11-16 is too short I think.

tokina 12-24 vs nikon 12-24.. nikon wins in every aspect except price~

but tokina 116 optic quality at par with nikon 12-24 (personal opinion).. but when compared at 1:1 the nikon wins for the detail

p/s: thats how i ended with 116.. but still wanna grab 12-24..

Q: 12-24 can be use for FX body right?

Yah. It should be better as per previous CZ lenses, mostly outperform nikkor's.

And siggy 30mm is a DX lens sleep.gif
