Well done, vikingw2k.
I must say that these are probably the most detailed moon shots we've had in this thread shot without the use of a telescope. The first time I've see the capabilities of the Sony A100 for astrophotography.
Now, if only you had done this during the eclipse.........

Viking, your photos are quite good. Did you overexpose the Moons purposely?

Actually overexposing means that your photo signal to noise is almost 0.

QUOTE(vikingw2k @ Mar 10 2007, 04:22 PM) miss my 12x optical zoom / 432mm S3 IS anybody tried shooting with S3 IS before? HI. My S3 IS is the only thing near telescopic which I have. And the best shot of the moon using the 432mm without digital X is this. Too much light polution at my place to try taking sky pics on starry nights. I know thou that MR.LKM's house pretty good place for that.... This post has been edited by julchin_09: Mar 13 2007, 12:34 AM

Breaking news: An Aussie named Lovejoy has just discovered a new comet - get this, using his Canon 350D. Maybe I'll go get meself one then. Almost forgot, Mr.LKM, I love your Lunar Eclipse sequence. You got your Minolta K back in action! Did you piggy back it on your LX90? This post has been edited by March05: Mar 17 2007, 02:07 PM
