SSPN tax relief is under which category? Anuity?

Well with the introduction of E-Filing for income tax, a lot of taxpayer claimed yearly for the RM6k tax relief for savings under SSPN by opening themselves an individual account.
Not knowing that the tax relief only applies to child account and can ONLY be claimed by legal parent/guardian.

I posted a comment on SSPN's FB but they replied me the standard "BigPoints to be credited within 45 days of transaction". After I replied them that it's already >45 days, they went silent.

That's the thing that we're not clear about since it wasn't explicitly explained in the FAQ. Still, since this campaign is hosted by SSPN, it's only logical to assume that SSPN will be the one to handle this issue.

I made an inquiry to BP (BigPay, not BIG Points) & they redirected me to raise an email to askbig@airasiabig.com.

At the same time, I also sent a message to PTPTN FB. They asked if the email address I used for PTPTN is the same email address as BigPay. Told them yes & now waiting for their reply again.

Looks to be the case here.

I'll post again once I have more update.

And AirAsia BIG just closed my ticket that was auto-generated from my email earlier today.


Meanwhile, PTPTN FB asked for my NRIC so currently waiting for their update again.

Go figure.

Anyway, just received another email from AirAsia BIG:

Do you still get the 4% interest doing it this way? Is it a daily interest?

Don't mind sharing what investments you do that you can put in or withdraw any amount of money and guaranteed significantly more than 4%?

But some are over the counter and the trouble for 0.2-0.4% interest, i am not sure it is worth it.

Heard SSPN withdrawal is about a week or slightly more, which is quite liquid. So i still don't understand the need for doing this deposit then withdrawal and then deposit process.

Maybe , they don't trust the Govt... cos PTPTN run by Govt servants
