Sorry but can you share what you mean by agents here and how can I contact them? I've been putting money every month since 2014 never win anything liao.

Seems this question asked so much....

Those who work at PTPTN, one of their KPI is to get SSPN deposits in. So like, the men and ladies who serve you at the counter when you deposit in person.

If you deposit with them (or with their office) a large amount which helps them hit KPI, then they may give you some gifts/rewards.

Some of them pandai2 to game the system, they realise a lot of people deposit online (which means doesn't go to anyone's KPI), and they can 'claim' that as 'their' KPI if they can get your transfer details. So they offer you some gifts if you send them the receipts. My agent told me must be submitted within 14 days to be valid (so don't go digging up your last year receipts la).

This is a gift from agent to you, normally. Since you help them hit KPI. For my agent it's if you can deposit 8K within that month then will give umbrella or small backpack or piggy bank or whatever la.

Separate from this is lucky draw prizes which PTPTN itself will offer during events. Those aren't direct from the individual agents.

Oh, you opened an account with an agent. I opened mine through online.
No wonder.

No difference how you open. You can just contact an agent and ask them for gift in exchange for receipts.

so meaning if I deposit 10k during campaign period...i will get 100 bonus in month of jul?

Yes. Now they smarter, you have to leave it in till end of June (at least 2 full months).

It's still a nice 1% over 2 months, but not like last year few days already get 1% buta-buta.

QUOTE(pisang @ Feb 24 2021, 06:51 PM)
hello all, may i ask for some advice based on below scenario, for Ganjaran Setia Only.

Assuming i have Balance as of today 24/2/2021, of RM10K.
I then withdraw RM5K tomorrow, and put in RM20K on April 2021. And not withdawing anything until end of Jun 2021.
so the eligible for 1% ganjaran Kesetiaan is on RM20K or RM15K (20K-5K) ?
thank you in advance.
*
I can confirm from talking to PTPTN rep, not allowed to withdraw anything since yesterday. So if you have already withdraw then you are automatically out of the running for this ganjaran.

Not very attractive. For those with spouse, as MGM said just use one account for deposit withdraw and the other one for this campaign (deposit end April and leave untouched till July).

So i made 3 transactions today, one via clicking on CNY Angpow banner and another 2 via the Ganjaran Kesetiaan banner.  Both brought me to the same top-up link.  Wondering if they can differentiate the 2 campaigns or it does not matter and all 3 transactions should qualify for both campaigns?
*
Based on my understanding all deposits count, not just through the banner.

Very the red flag. Do you think the promoter earns ALL the interest you pay to the bank in commission? Otherwise she's losing money on the deal.

im assuming her commissions is much higher than the interest rate.
*
So.... the bank lose money for each loan? Unlikely.... perhaps this last amount is needed to shift her to some higher tier of commission etc so the value to her may be more than what she giving out. But otherwise there's no way the bank pay her more to get the customer than they earn from the customer.

Dont think bank lose money since the interest/fee has already been "paid" by him, its just that she give back the fee to him as rebate/gift as per their agreement.

I'm guessing her commission is higher than that so she willing to "split" the commission with him. Or it could be what you mentioned to get into higher tier.
*
If the bank earns RM1000 (let's say) from your loan fee + interest...

and then pays MORE than RM1000 as commission.... (as you say, higher than that)

Who is losing money on that transaction? Don't forget timing of payment as well (interest is charged later on, likely later than commission paid out).

no withdrawal.
withdraw 80, thought dividend can do withdrawal.

The kid 2 a/c is the account number your IC number with a few extra digit in front and behind? One possibility is that the account is not under your IC.

My statement everything in order, almost exactly 8k net deposit and that's what it shows (both accounts also got withdrawal):-

I saw there is a deduction RM1052 from 2019 Dividends from 3 accounts
but i  looked at the 2020 Terperinci and checked dividend from each account
it wont add up to RM1052.

Anyone can tell me where did i calculate wrong and missed the 8k by so much?

You only want to upload selected snapshot then you ask us to check for you?

Pretty sure you also received additional cashback (for example from ganjaran kesetiaan) but you didn't show that part of your statement. Try looking for this sort of line:-

You listen to the boss instead of the user here, congratulations =)

Think about it, in your own company, what is the chances the boss know any details? The one who know is only the one who has to do it or face the consequences, generally.

Simple for SSPN, must put in your own money net 8k per year to qualify. Nothing which is given to you by PTPTN can count it.

Simple to calculate.

Year X I withdraw how much (A)?
Year X I deposit how much (B) from my own money?

My eligibility is B-A. That's all.

Just tried 1500.  Is it total cost RM4.5 (RM1+RM3.5)?
*
Just got my first TnG via 7-11 Razerpay reflected in SSPN.

I chose to deposit RM1500. Was charged RM1503.50. So I thought 3.50 charged (okay la).

But what appeared in SSPn was RM1502.50. So charge is only RM1.

That being said.... I paid at 7-11 on 23rd February. Only got the email from SSPN yesterday 9th March. So it takes ages and ages. Probably won't be using this method too often, Boost is faster.

Is it true that if u deposited say on 5-Mar n withdraw out in 1April u still get 1 month of dividend?
*
You can test and count for us. But based on their document I think you will not get because they count the lowest balance between 5 Mar and 4 Apr.

So if you deposit 10k on 5 Mar and withdraw 9.5k on 4 Apr, your balance is 10k for the whole period except last day is 500. Then they will use that 500 to count.

*
No it doesn't. Clearly states first column you fill in how much you deposit, then 2nd you fill in how much you take out within the same time period.

So in my example it would be 10k in first column, 9.5k in second column, then it will calculate 500 for you in third column and give you RM1.6667 (assuming 4% p.a.)

Yes the calculator itself is self explanatory. Only deposits follow the 6th-5th rule; withdrawals follow the month in which the withdrawals were made.

So if you deposit 10k on 5 March and withdraw all 10k on 4 April you will still get 1 month dividend for March. This also means you will get full dividend for March even if you withdraw on 1 April.

That is one interpretation. If this is correct then it is good (can get a few days free interest). I would not want to test it just for the benefit of a few days interest.

There are many ways to deposit. If haven't reflect after more than a week I suspect you use 7-11 razerpay deposit? That can take a few weeks.

4% is per annum rate. Pro-rated per month.

In another way, 4% is how much interest they will pay you to borrow your money for 12 months.

Cannot be you lend them the money 1 day (31st Dec) and on 1st Jan they pay you 4% right?

That is why need to understand when to move d  funds between sspn n high interest CASA. I have yet to find out how dividend is calculated.
*
Isn't it quite clear from our previous posts here?

Take any period from 5th of month X to 4th of month X+1.

Calculate lowest balance in that period. Per-month dividend given for that lowest balance.

A few examples according to my understanding. Assume account starts with 8k inside before Jan 5th

Example 1

Jan 7 - deposit 8k
Feb 3 - withdraw 12k

Dividend given on lowest balance which is 4k. So you effectively earned NO interest on the 12k you withdrew.

Example 2

Jan 7 - withdraw 7k
Feb 3 - deposit 20k

Dividend given on lowest balance which is 1k. No interest on the 20k deposit (but if you leave it there till the NEXT 4th then you get interest).

Example 3
Jan 7 - deposit 20k
Jan 20 - deposit 10k
Feb 1 - withdraw 5k

Dividend given on lowest balance which is 8k. So all that 15k increase balance won't earn interest.

If the above is correct (which I think it is) then the 'best' way is to keep track of your balance starting the 5th of each month. If you're playing the in/out game, and you deposit large, may as well withdraw it quickly (earns no interest for that month).

But towards end of the month (coming up to 4th of the next month) then it may be worth to leave the sum in. Assuming that the next month you're not going to withdraw.

Put another way, if you know that for example on end Dec you will withdraw 25k, you may as well withdraw on the 5th since you won't be earning interest on that withdrawn sum for the whole 5-31 anyway.

*
Best to put in 1-4 of the month. Best to withdraw 5th and immediately after. If your objective is to maximize interest (assuming you have a high-interest savings account you're withdrawing to).

That being said it won't make a huge difference for most people....

assuming u have 50k in SSPN now, before April u top up 100K, come July u will be getting extra 1K in your SSPN, if no withdrawal whatsoever,

by Jan/Feb 2022, you will be getting X% on 151K, I think it's like that lah.  brows.gif  unsure.gif
*
No, X% is pro-rated, see earlier in the thread for examples. If he put in 100k in April he will earn 8/12 (or 7/12) of X% on that 100k. And the extra 1k which comes in in July he will earn 5/12 of X% on that amount.

This is standard interest calculation, but per month rather than per day (like banks do).
