Technically no. 35mm APS-C in full frame terms will give you 52.5mm after multiplying 1.5 crop factor.

Although the values are close, the field of view will be slightly different. Adding to that, the different minimum focusing distance of both lens will also be a factor to give different bokeh feel.

i had in mind the Sigma 30mm f1.4 - SAL 35 f1.8 - Sigma 24/28 f1.8 - F43?
but the Sigma(s) are quite and old lenses and the mfd for 30mm f1.4 is not that short (40cm). then the Sigma 24/28 doesn't have HSM , so probably the AF noise should be around the SAM lenses. So SAL 35mm f/1.8??

i've played around with the sigma 17-70 before. Canon version though. Build quality wise almost same with tamron but the MFD is really nice!

But sadly the f2.8 only last from 17 to about 24mm only? That really turned me off. ._.

no matter how sucky your skills are..as long as your models have very little cloth..the pictures you take are a great picture... biggrin.gif

i've seen one nude picture.. it's a shot of a lady(her body full with tattoos) while she's drawing her self portrait. that one nice mannn.. found it in a renowned canon forum can't remember the name. ><
