Hmm? If budget is a prob, go all prime

any of the minolta wide angle primes, or maybe the KM 17-35 f2.8-4D to cover your prime range.

Then the 50mm f1.4

Go for the 85Z and the 135Z They won't let you down!

Get the minolta 200mm f2.8 if you need the 200mm.

after looking at A33 and A55 thu their viewfinder, dun really like SLT, it's like very electronic and "not real"

it seems that everything is going the SLT road for sony...a bit dissapointing

SLT is the future, in the near future, EVF will be the mainstream.

Flipping Mirrors are going to be a thing of the past... I guess, if no mirrors = no OVF

I am not sure if this is a better future or not but it seems like Nikon and Canon is not following this trend. In the future will all digital camera become SLT?

I've been using A200 for 3 years and thinking for an upgrade, really confused..

its funny to say that why must canon and nikon follow only its considered mainstream.

EVF does have its cons, but as of today, i see more pros in EVF than the cons of it.

really wanna see more ppl using them and post out the work!

No doubt abt the video capability of SLT but skeptical on the images produce by it.

No laa. I personally dont really like EVF. I've only seen it for a few minutes. But if i rmb correctly its a blueish screen inside. They say can view photos and preview WB in EVF. Cool stuff yo!

Haha! I didn't say that SLT is going to be the mainstream, personally I think it might just die off in favour of a new and better techology. (probably an improved version of the mirrorless technology)

Most probably a version of the "mirrorless" techology will be the future. That would be awesome!

before the tsunami, nikon has patented several design that looks very very very similiar with SLT. and the mirrorless they claim to release, infact is something like SLT (not compact mirrorless, so dont expect new mount) it will too have EVF.

canon on other hand, has some weak sign.

to be honest, the evf benefits outweigh the ovf, but just one thing it cant win over, the heart of ovf lover.

but come to think of it, evf/ovf, is just a method to help u view what u going to snap, in the end, the result is that matters.

and i am damn lazy to list out all the benefits of the evf over ovf again

if u dont like it, well, u can always consider nikon system which is the most similar with sony system. but i can say, the anticipation for A77 is huge! even new comer A33/55 user also felt like jumping to A77. scare A77 will have stock shortage for the first 6 months
