md5 is to check if ur RUU download checksum same as mine, meaning identical files.

If different means we got different RUU's

It's like your ROMS they give md5 right? Sometimes maybe download break 99.9% u dunno u try flash then error pulak. Usually md5 checksum can check for that reason. This is general and applies to any file

Check if same as mine lor but I really dunno y urs in chinese cus mine is def in English

Another worthwhile to note: If you setCPU different clocks like for screen off 245-245Mhz then the scaling may be off, so if you see 100% if screen off then it's okay (but beware it may take some time to reach lock screen if your ROM is laggy [ It happened a few times on one of the ROMs I ditched, forgot which 1 liao] I used the SetCPU from our thread front page but screen off 245/245 is quite bad if don't know how to manage your apps properly. Especially if you are running something CPU intensive and suddenly screen off = GG 10seconds delay to display Lock screen.

I find Usage Timeline Pro very accurate in it's readings. And you can also predict when your phone will lag too. Not poisoning you to buy this app but I bought it because it's good.

MIUI has been very impressive during idle for Home UI without widgets as well.

It is the only ROM I have tested that the CPU doesn't spike. Constant 3-4% = Wow

Other roms have an itchy butt to spike extra 5-10% out of the blue.

CM is also very low. Idk lah but if I want to really do a full study on all the famous roms I don't agree to making EXT 4 partition for DHD roms xd

Only problem is the lockscreen sometimes does as you can see from the graph in the notification I show you. Battery effect, got la, -30% but I haven't set up my power saving schemes yet (or, haven't applied) so cannot comment much but currently leave overnight lose extra 5-10% battery compared to usual power save. I don't over do it though [being stingy with the juice] but yeah.

Oh and if you don't use this app, the lag isn't noticeable at all unless you are very quick at unlocking ur phone, like press trackpad then straight slide ~ 1 sec or so then u will notice the lag if u wait > 1 sec then no lag.

yup, which is why I set screen off profile to 245~384 instead, and use performance scaling

this way the clock speed jumps right back to where it should when I'm unlocking the screen so it doesn't lag

I find that using smartass scaling in particular for screen off profile causes the lag

I set to 422 when not doing anything and 600~ ish if I have things I need to run in the background.

And yep I think 422 was powersave and 600 was performance for me.

if you SIS unit you shouldn't need a gold card.

I just ran that and updated the software no and back to square 1...the horrors.

Just try download the Shipped RUU and run that. If it stills run in chinese, is your PC in chinese?

Don't rush, later warranty void u kantoi. Try not use Gold Card.

it's alright. Very plain, but quite okay. Prefer CM7 for more flexibility in settings. They aren't so bad I suppose. Feels the same as CM7 but without some of the settings. Gingervillain tried once then switched back CM7. It's ok ok I guess. CM7 best!

I've tried Oxygen GB ROM RC2. But move to other rom in 2 hours playing with it.

I can say...it's blazing fast & very light to use. Well, fair enough, it's light because it's lack of alot features & function.

I have friend still using it & follow the update for month. So far, he have not complaint, cos he is very light user.

ha..one more..cm7 dont hve keyboard calibrate feature rite? very annoying coz of the typing error..

oxygen is clean hacks rom . that is wat adam stated .

gingervillan is based on cm7 with tweaks to increase performance . downside is ... less battery life .
