Usually in a stop start system car, the ac will have a separate power source and ECU unit. Not sure bout the 308 though.

stop start means whenever u brake when stopping at red lights or traffic,just release ur foot and it will stop.and go by stepping on the acceleration again

i believe will be end of 2012.even the shitty 408(codename T73) will be launch on april 2012 and its been announced since earlier this year what more this model.
and rumors that they will replace all 308 hatchback to 308 sedan as what they did in china.thats why they still haven't decided either to be named T73 as 408 or 308 sedan.

seriously, this ?i would definitely get bored of the looks after a few months.if i would to get a conti car,rather settle for something attractive and not boring so no feel like selling the car knowing it has bad resale value.

yes ,thats why the citroen c4 engine is the same as peugeot 308 turbo.but the citroeen is known for technology and comfort.it has the best among most conti cars.

I don't understand. The link you provided is about 408. And you can only get the car in China. Although 408 is based on 308 platform, it doesn't share the Prince engine used in 308.

408 is also available in many latin american countries. check out the logo of those cars there. it is different from the logo of the china version. at the moment, it doesn't share engines with the 308... but next year, who knows?

This is the new successor of 308, which is a hatch. 408 is not the new 308.

I'm wondering how did you manage to translate "Peugeot 1.6THP will likely powers this car same as 308 Turbo, which it shares the same platform." to "the SAME 1.6thp turbo engine". Is it because it shares the same platform? China's 408 does not even use the same engine, let alone the turbocharged one.

**Although, there's a variant of 408 that use THP engine in South America. So, unless it's official, I wont go as far as confirming the 408 will use THP engine.

i think this 408 only matters for those who really needs a sedan car. if you ask me, i would say, HB is the in thing now, lol. golf, polo, mini cooper or even myvi viva shows we really started to like hb now.

408 the look is ok, but doesnt have the family look of pug. well, some say 308 looks ugly.
