Give superoneclickroot a try. I don't know if it would work but it was my reliable rooting procedure.

scared samsung will lock the bootloader

If they are to lock, this would be the first locked bootloader for i9000. But so far I'm seeing them able to flash other kernel and also access UL/DL mode. It's safe to assume it's not locked.

you mean flash with option "update bootloader" enabled?

Without bootloader update, some ppl have corrupted screen during boot up.

Hi, does anyone out there know where did they keep livewallpaper or Wallpaper gallery in our phone?

I'm going to flash to Simply ROM now. Do we have to choose the correct CRC or we can just ignore the step? Hope some one can help.

no. there are 2 versions of jvk in xda. one with bootloaders and one without (removed)
just ignore the csc steps

the livewallpapers are kept in the system/apps

root explorer force close in xxjvk. Anyone same with this?

i flashed my phone with odin from dxjpe to the xxjvk..i forgot delete speedmod and root...after flash it fail halfway and i accidentally close odin. now my phone just stuck at the galaxy s logo screen. cant enter recovery mode...only can enter download mode. i tried flashing back dxjpe but still stuck at logo screen even though flash successful...help me pls....

download the dxjpe with 3 files and pit
