Don't need to rename to anything actually. After copied into /system/app/, just reboot right after.

If still cannot, delete the apk from /system/data/. Download the latest Maps 5.2.1 from Market (or some other sources, cause I think can't download from Market also, not sure). After installed it. Then go back to TB, clear data & uninstall.

Then repeat the step of coping the resign file into /system/app/, then reboot.

This time should work. smile.gif

i got a question...i just upgraded to xxjvk with bootloader...if i want to download or revert back to stock froyo..how should i do it using odin or cwm?

Yea. Agree. But then I found that the voice kinda funny when I search for destination from Google navigation. If I set destination from Google map, then it is ok. Anyway, happy that now Google Navigation works!....

Previously having large battery drain using Doc's Kitchen JVK rom.Now move to Juwe Smart 3.1. Really snappy!Will keep monitoring the battery life.

Hmm, I wonder when will we get the gingerbread officially released by samsung?
And is it safe to update to the leaked gingerbread? Well I be able to update the phone using kies in the future?

to play safe, go to SME and let them update for u. but have to wait for official ginger first la.

It is safe and stable. Future updates can still use Kies if you want but you probably won't after you learn to use ODIN.

Using your PC, try to set DNS server address manually to Google DNS. See if it works.

Malaysia not yet froyo 2.2.1... long way to go Gingerbread. Hope they skip 2.2.1 n straight away go for Gingerbread
