Obviously Samsung did something to the original ROM. Do note that there are variants of SGS don't come with 3G video call capability.

I did try the 3G video call with my friend's SGS on darkyy ROM whilst I am on stock gingerbread. Found that the person who video called cannot see the person who received call and vice versa. Last time when we both on Froyo no such problem. Anyone has similar issues?

Btw, having 3G video call is awesome, the charges are the same as voice calls anyway, the downside is it drains battery very fast. blink.gif

Hi, there. I'm on Simply ROM 2.7 Speedboot now.
I don't like the swype keyboard.
Someone did teach me to del the swype.apk in apps and reinstall it.
However, I've tried that. But it's not installed. Why??
Any help please? Thank you.

Is not an issue, when you receive 3G call, you need to allow others to see your video by turning it on, try menu button or something.

i just flash xxjvk with bootloader,
recalibrate battery,
use voodoo hack for ext4,
restart phone after using gps eg angrygps (battery draining) bcos i dunno how to close the angrygps... it will always run on background after using it, it's not killed by task killer (not sure battery draining is caused by angrygps or not, but restart phone will solve it)

Last few day i also facing high Android OS battery consumption after i use angrygps... then i restart the phone n the problem solve. Not sure it is caused by the angrygps...
