so far for me, my tng 20% rebate is on time, each month.

TnG process 20% rebate calculation on every 10th to 14th each month. Redeem can only be done from 15th onwards.

you redeem at plus toll cs? my case usually 2-3 months to redeem at plus toll cs (very rare will on time). unless if i go direct to tng hub.
*
yup, at PLUS toll CS.

usually i go there every month (if i pass by the toll cs before 7pm). most days, due to work/traffic, i couldnt go reach there before 7pm, so i accumulate for few months.

before going there, i always check how much rebates i gotten... this include those festive rebates (e.g. CNY). My last CNY rebate was like RM1.xx onli tongue.gif

This 20% rebate for 80x use per month still on?

never stopped thumbup.gif

imagine, reload with AMEX during weekend (5% CB + 5X TP), then getting 20% Rebate from TnG.

27% in return drool.gif

Hahaha.. awesome indeed!

forgotten there's 1% surcharge by Petronas for cc swipe. so total return from AMEX is 26%.

i just thought of this: TnG card itself (20% rebate) is giving more rebates than any other single card (10% from HLB Wise) laugh.gif

i can easily hit >80/month toll transactions than hitting 10 x RM50 transactions with HLB Wise sweat.gif

i wonder, if using HLB Wise to reload TnG at Petronas Kinrara (over-the-counter), will it be categorized as Petrol or Groceries or not in any category? hmm.gif

if this category is covered by HLB Wise, oh wow, 10% CB from HLB Wise + 20% rebate from TnG but minus 1% petronas cc surchage = 29% in return.

p/s: it'd be weird to swipe TnG reload by splitting RM50 each laugh.gif

1) if you use plusmiles tng, you get additional 5% rebate for plus highway = 31% instead of 26%
2) hlb wise can only be used at automated fuel dispenser. using at the cashier equals to 0%
*
Yeah, few months back I was reviewing plusmile card. 5% rebate only if your PLUS usage exceeds RM100 (no mention of exact RM100 usage scenario).

Reviewed my TnG usage last year, didn't even hit RM100/mth on PLUS hiways. Bulk of my tolls are non-PLUS or small-ish amount biggrin.gif

Nice info as about HLB Wise though. Thanks! wink.gif

Went to myMydin, BB Bangi and asked if TnG can be reloaded there....they looked at each other and one of the staff told that sometime can, sometime can't...???
If can only cash accepted...
BTW, they accept amex 4 normal transaction...
*
yeah, kinda sux.

went there in Jul 2013, AMEX accepted. Managed to reload RM400 without any surcharge.

went back there again in Sep 2013, they wont accept AMEX for TNG reload vmad.gif

I do write an email and check with TnG via FB as well. They reply does not accept Amex and ask them any plan in future? Never answer me back... vmad.gif
*
yep, they wont commit on commercial terms. must be sked we hold them responsible for making promises! laugh.gif

QUOTE(ryudell @ Apr 25 2014, 03:03 PM)
please enable to use amex soon as every month top-up 100, u get 500TP...not easy to earn TP with amex as not widely accepted cry.gif
*
if u spend mostly in KV, should be fine kot.

for TnG, i whacked about RM400-500 per swipe. not staying near Petronas Kinrara, so swipe it big!

for me, my whole month's spending are exclusive to AMEX brows.gif even on weekday spending, swiped with AMEX too. thumbup.gif

so far, my spend locations are: Petronas, TGV Cinemas, Starbucks, Watson's, Ichiriki and Vivo Restaurant, and the ever useful payment for UNIFI thumbup.gif

tomorrow will be the last weekend of the month, time to overpay some bills to maximize this month's CB brows.gif

Touch N Go Website does have the interactive map for us to locate which places has the T&G reload facilities.

T&G Interactive Map

Probably we can start with the one with T&G Spot?
I will try that on the Shell next to Paradigm Mall.. I got my new Smart Tag device there too..
*
all SPOTs doesnt accept credit card. Cash only. No surcharge.

Oops.. Too bad. But I purchased my smart tag using credit card, maybe to petrol station purchases inside the station is different as topping up T&G card..
*
you gotten the smarttag using cc from TNG SPOT booth itself?

when you pay using cc, where did you pay? from Shell staff/counter or from TNG booth also?

I suppose its not a booth.. It is just normal counter where u pay for ur purchases inside the petrol station.
There is no T&G special section/representative/promotion during that time.
*
i see! most likely they sell smarttag as one of the store's SKU. their POS terminal doesnt support TNG (RFID card) hence unable to reload the card.

Some update on Mymydin Bukit Tinggi, went there yesterday Reloaded RM200 with HLB Wise then ask the cashier still accepting AMEX or not? She and her supervisor replyed ADA masih ada, so the answer is STILL accepting AMEX.
*
Same person that u asked last month when they said not accepting amex?

I think mymydin still accept amex overall, just that they were instructed NOT to accept it for TNG reload.

I'm targeting to reload at Watson's with cash. Direct rebate, no fuss. Downside is need cash, which is acceptable.
