Reload TnG at MyMydin (Visa/Master/Amex), Read carefully, it's Mymydin, not Mydin.

QUOTE(WaCKy-Angel @ May 14 2014, 09:20 AM) Hmm i went to Watson at Kuchai Enterprenuers Park they say use the Watson TnG card only. that's why i thought too, must reload into Watson TnG card Which shop u went to? Anyone else also successfully use Non-Watson TnG card to reload and get 5% rebate? @victorywp why not u create a thread for Watson TnG since this is MyMydin thread? i got 2 generic TnG cards (credit: RM70+ and RM200+) which i'm going to voluntary cancel them to get the credits back (by cheque or into bank acct). Gotten the new Watson TnG to enjoy the reload rebate and to get some points since i shop in Watsons too. Better than a generic card which gain nothing this topic for MyMydin already overdued for revision since the TS already MIA for some time and the OP not maintained. most likely wait till this topic reaches 2.5k replies threshold before opening a new topic. QUOTE(victorywp @ May 14 2014, 09:29 AM) i went to the watson at ss15. probably their staffs also not sure the exact rebate criteria gua i think no need purposely create a thread just for watson tng, because this promo is not for long-term. i'll be calling Watson's svc center soon. wanna get official clarification on the promo period and rebate criteria. p/s: been trying to get the MCC codes used by TNG Hubs (Bangsar South or KL Sentral). Seems they're reluctant to disclose it This post has been edited by cybpsych: May 14 2014, 09:35 AM |

WaCKy-Angel victorywp
ok, gotten the official T&C from Watson's service centre. 1) 5% rebate per RM100 reload. 2) Promo period until 21 May 2014. 3) Must reload into Watson's card (reason: auto-rebate upon reload) 4) While stocks last (??) no idea about point 4. they have quota for this? point 3, victorywp is lucky Depends on how the system identify watson's card serial number (e.g. unique identifier), i wonder how they know if your reload credit is actually loaded into watson's card, not into other TnG card. Their tng terminals not linked with counter terminals anyway since they scan the TnG receipt into counter terminal to get the actual rebate |

QUOTE(WaCKy-Angel @ May 14 2014, 10:09 AM) Yeah i thought so too, victorywp just got lucky coz the staff dont know the procedure. from my watson reload earlier this month, they reload via TnG terminal first (ePay). Reload receipt printed, then scanned into counter terminal. from this terminal, watson's receipt showed 2 separate items/lines: RM100 TnG reload and -RM5 for rebate (this part, is automated in their system upon recognizing TnG reload "sku").I think from what i read in victorywp posts, rebate are not like credit card (which credited into account) but its instead of paying RM100 for RM100 reload you only pay RM95. from victorywp's reload, it seems there's no hardcoded linkage, technically can reload any TnG card and still get the 5% rebate. The stated T&C is just probably "soft" policy and not defined in the system |

QUOTE(victorywp @ May 14 2014, 10:34 AM) yeah, as long as they can key-in a valid watson card id into the payment system, then they can give you the 5% rebate. then you may use any tng card to be reloaded on their tng terminal. yalor, can "enjoy" this little loophole. hope they dont have hard-cap/quota on the rebate. Planning to reload RM600 (6xRM100) which will last me for 4 months of toll usage. |

QUOTE(victorywp @ May 14 2014, 10:54 AM) i think they surely still have rm600 for you to reload. if it's really so popular i think they may have ended this promo well before 21/5. RM600 reload done! staff said need watson card to qualify for rebate. gave him my watson tng card. forgotten to ask if i can reload to another tng card along with the watson card even got free GLOW magazine, worth RM4 (RM3 for member) interestingly, their POS terminal will detect mutliple reloads in 1 single receipt (1st reload will be charged RM95, 2nd reload will get charged RM100). So staff did 6 separate transactions, 1 after another. <-- by doing so, i'm also getting 6x entries for the Mini contest the supervisor said, if i got the Mini, remember to honk when passing by his outlet |

QUOTE(victorywp @ May 14 2014, 02:07 PM) yeah, got both malay guys there. sporting and rilek only when i took out my cash, the trainee got shocked for a second, and said need to check the 'TnG credit quota' availability. luckily no issue. i noticed most tng reload merchants (watsons or petronas) has a certain credit allocation. technically same as mobile reload at tesco, 7E, etc. they all have a fixed allocation. if credit is low or depleted, they'll need HQ to replenish their outlet's credit bucket. oh well, credit card or cash reload, as long as i get instant rebate/discounted reload, i'm all but happy. now i dont have to hunt for reload for 4 more months. |

QUOTE(victorywp @ May 14 2014, 02:29 PM) yeah, yesterday night i asked that mohawk trainee at first, but then the supervisor came and attended to me. haha yeah, no rush using, but not choice due to daily travelling *FML*great, so you can slowly enjoy your tng until next quarter. lol... problem with tng is no other merchants are giving discounted reload. petrol stations have surcharge, bank ATMs have service charge. tng spot/hub/watson have flat reload. no incentives to reload. so far watson's direct rebate is the best, at the moment. |

QUOTE(mcricky @ May 15 2014, 10:11 PM) yes, actually you can buy Watson's products using TnG.blogged by this blogger http://www.linoralow.com/2013/events/watso...with-touch-n-go also by TheStarOnline http://www.thestar.com.my/News/Community/2...customers-more this was mentioned by the SS15's Watson outlet supervisor. He said if I didnt win the Mini car, he asked me to drop by his outlet to purchase their products with the TnG card (I was reloading a huge sum into the VIP card this begs another question: can I use any TnG card to pay? or must use Watson's VIP+TnG card? my best guess is, technically = any TnG card will do, policy-wise = no idea This post has been edited by cybpsych: May 16 2014, 07:30 AM |

QUOTE(victorywp @ May 25 2014, 09:17 AM) and i nominate cybpsych to open bcs he already compiled the whole list. Walaoeh Sunday taichi maybe we don't have to wait until 2.5k replies to open the new thread. last time brotan also opened a thread about balance transfer when there already have one or two threads about bt. and of course, brotan's is more up-to-date with more detailed information. so cybpsych, it's time to start a new thread. Am still figuring out how to best present the info |

QUOTE(Seng_Kiat @ May 26 2014, 01:28 PM) cash reload, virtually no merchants are giving rebate/discount/cashback. RM100 cash = RM100 TnG credit (assuming no reload service charge at e.g. TnG Spot/Hubs or Watsons).hence, most forumers are hunting/testing for credit card reload options instead; which giving cashback and give you some extra days without utilizing your fund upfront. Commonly preferred reload channels via cc are at petrol stations, whereas literally all will incur surcharge and/or service charge. example: Reload using Maybank2card Amex on weekends at Petronas Kinrara. RM100 TnG credit = RM100 swipe + 1% (RM1) cash surcharge. In advance, you're paying "more" at RM101 for RM100 TnG credit. However, your upcoming cc bill will reward you RM5 cashback (5% of RM100 swipe) and 5x100 TreatsPoints (equivalent to 2% cashback in points). Effectively, you gain RM4 in cashback (RM5 cashback minus RM1 surcharge you paid in advance) + 500 TPs. You gain something in return. Might not be much if just reload RM100, but imagine you reload RM500 TnG credit using Amex (RM500 lumpsum or RM100 every weekend). You'll gain RM20 cashback (RM25 cashback-RM5 surcharge) + 1000 TPs Yes, need more work and not everyone will enjoy this benefit unless you're nearby/convenient to reach these petrol stations. QUOTE(marcus_bread @ May 26 2014, 03:32 PM) so is it all the Petronas station will accept reload TnG by using Amex CC? am looking forward to just reload at petronas in future as i use RM300 tng every mth. sadly, no. Petrol stations + TnG + Amex = Unicorn thx... You have better chance using Visa/Mastercard than Amex. does your TnG spending mostly above RM100 at PLUS, ELITE, BKE, LINKEDUA highways? If YES, you really need to get PLUSMiles! card instead. This post has been edited by cybpsych: May 26 2014, 03:39 PM |

Touch n Go reload @ 7-Eleven!
![]() From right: Incomm global development VP Simon Osgood, 7-Eleven Malaysia Sdn Bhd deputy CEO Gary Brown and Touch N' Go COO Farilla Abdullah after the signing ceremony of the strategic partnership with Incomm, Touch N'Go and MOL. QUOTE KUALA LUMPUR: 7-Eleven Malaysia Holdings Bhd (7-Eleven) aims to maintain 10% annual growth momentum in its in-store services' revenue by expanding the segment, deputy chief executive officer Gary Brown said on Wednesday. "Commissions from in-store revenue posted an average growth over 10% in recent years. It contributed RM57mil to total group revenue of RM1.67bil last year. We would like to maintain such growth momentum. "In-store services are a significant profit contributor to our bottomline and will be a major contributor to our growth, moving forward," he told a media briefing after a signing ceremony with Touch and Go Sdn Bhd, InComm International (InComm) and MOL Access Portal Sdn Bhd (MOL). As part of its strategy to expand in-store services to drive store traffic and profitability, 7-Eleven is strengthening its strategic relations with Touch and Go Sdn Bhd to provide Touch 'n Go card reload services at all 7-Eleven outlets in Peninsular Malaysia. By using MOL's terminal infrastructure, 7-Eleven will also be enabling Touch 'n Go as a payment option by end of this year, added Brown. Meanwhile, in the joint distribution agreement, Incomm, in partnership with MOL, will start supplying point-of-sales activated gift cards at 7-Eleven outlets. "In-store services do not require significant floor space in our stores and allow us to grow revenues without incurring significant costs," he added. - Bernama Source: TheStar Online News #1 | TheStar Online News #2 This post has been edited by cybpsych: May 29 2014, 10:54 AM |
