QUOTE(Everdying @ Mar 23 2011, 03:12 PM) means u can see more detail when u print very big. thanx for the explanationlike clients want to see every fine details, threads on clothes etc, or even when u edit the color etc its more accurate...or like in hair details...so u can see every strand rather than them all merge together into one big block of black. all that should be quite obvious already seeing how big raw files are. some will be happy enough with like tiff or eps files. of cos u dont need raw if all ur going to do is post pics on facebook etc QUOTE(Agito666 @ Mar 23 2011, 11:46 PM) yes, just like vehicle's meter mileage. the longer you use the shorter the life is...when time comes out, it's time to change a new body you sure about this? |

QUOTE(vearn27 @ Mar 23 2011, 11:56 AM) I saw this on my Facebook... Well... the actual story happened was..."We got a huge worm stuck inside our 70-200 f2.8 is. Anyone got any experience with this? How to get it out?" They put the lens without rear cap on the grassy ground while they're setting up. Ended up a worm went inside and they couldn't get it out even though they shook the lens here and there QUOTE(FaezFarhan @ Mar 23 2011, 04:31 PM) Alternatively can use ACDSEE? |

QUOTE(KTCY @ Mar 23 2011, 06:41 PM) SB-800 already disco years ago Aiks ! How can you say that? QUOTE(SSY22 @ Mar 23 2011, 06:13 PM) What do you guys think about Sigma 30mm 1.4 and 35 mm 1.8 g? I think in this case, the Nikkor since it's relatively cheaper than the Sigma if I'm not wrong. At the time when I wanted to get the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 vs Nikkor 35mm f/2.0 (the 35mm f/1.8 wasn't available), I choose the Sigma as it was 1 stop faster and was equal in performance to the Nikkor on the DX body IF YOU CAN GET A GOOD SAMPLE. The reason why you hear a lot of horror stories with the Sigma is that they have a very high sample variation which can lead you to getting a good copy or a copy that front / back focuses. If you must get the Sigma, have a test. If it's not performing, you can ask the Sigma distributor if you can send in the lens for calibration. Perhaps you might want to do some background checking on this. Anyway, looking around, I found a review of both lenses; http://dslr-video.com/blogmag/?p=1479 You can see that the Nikkor and the Sigma is also almost equal in the centre until you compare corner sharpness at wide open which the Nikkor wins. If you want to play safe, the Nikkor is a better bet since it's cheaper and lighter unless you want 5mm wider, and 2/3rd stops faster lens which the Sigma will give you. I will humbly admit and move on to say that I've learned something new today if indeed what I said earlier was incorrect. Perhaps being at where he is makes it harder to take it from a nobody like me? I don't think it's a misunderstanding. actually i didnt delete my own post. i just click the quote mark that i think KTCY posted and i thought it's out. i didnt deliberately delete it like what you think. if you think that then i am sorry.
what i meant in the post was capture one manage to get more micro details out of raw better than other softwares. and i am sure some will say light room will process reduction of noise out of raw better than other softwares. and dan lain lain... i didn't say capture one was the best. best as in overall best. i just said it manage to extract more details better than other softwares. but it was you who said capture NX2 gives best result for raw (NEF) without saying why and stuffs... |

QUOTE(KTCY @ Mar 24 2011, 08:38 AM) Wtf wrong with my post ? It's already disco what Your reply does not need to be rude or condescending. My question was genuine. I know what you're trying to imply that the SB800 is a dinosaur after SB900 is out. I own one and the SB800 is still a much sort after Nikon speedlight. Disco speedlights would fall in the category of SB28/SB26 etc.Go check you google before you post ! QUOTE(KTCY @ Mar 24 2011, 08:38 AM) p/s : Ya know. People like you rely on facts so damn much so GOOGLE it before post Such a lame attempt. I'm sure you can do better? Somehow, instead of shooting people down and making sarcastic remarks, please make yourself useful and do more to help people even if it means doing some research on yourself. You might never know you learn a thing or two.
