What's the actual time for the balloon display? 7am ~ 9am and 5pm ~ 6pm? unsure.gif
*
Reach there at 730am, tickets already sold out in 15mins. That's when they start raising the balloons. So best time to reach there is 7am.

Evening session I didn't go so don't know. BTW, they ended really fast today due to bad wheather.

Tickets? What tickets? huh.gif

How's the parking and congestion like? I failed to make it for today. Planned to go tomorrow morning but couldn't be sure with the weather condition. It has been pretty bad these days.
*
If you reach there at 7am parking and congestion is easy to find and smooth. But since tomorrow is last day and Sunday, I can't promise anything sweat.gif

QUOTE(Kiki-Lala @ Mar 19 2011, 11:29 PM)
Evening session probably would be raining. Best is go during the morning session. Good weather. Those tickets are for tethering hot air balloon ride. Go up and down. RM10.
*
Yup, better go there in the morning, at least you can see them take off. Never rode in one so hoping to at least try it out cry.gif

ya  doh.gif  you are right. auto white balance.
what most common white balance (and ISO) you guys set... just set that as base so emergency can straight snap.  laugh.gif
*
For me mostly auto, cause up until now it's accurate in most conditions.

not sure my D70s "auto" system with kit lens is accurate or not  sweat.gif
oh well i still have photoshop  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
The best is shoot raw so you can change the white balance, picture control and other things later in your com. I use ViewNX 2 to do so. Just that raw files need big space sweat.gif

When I read the reviews most people say not much difference. Just that it's a good investment for FX later. But for me FX is still far far away sad.gif

So save money for other stuff tongue.gif

I think it's around 200-300 difference. I know 35mm f2 better but i'm happy with just 35mm f1.8 smile.gif

One thing I notice is when I use manual focus, it doesn't stop at the max/min focus point and I can continue to turn the focus ring (just that it's a bit harder to turn). Other 35mm f1.8 owner please clarify whether it's normal or not sad.gif

What's CA issue?

That's normal for 35mm f1.8g..the focus ring can turn 360 without stopping  sweat.gif CA stands for chromatic aberration..
*
I thought there's something wrong with the ring since my kit lens can't do it sweat.gif

No wonder some pics I snap colour a bit wierd, so it's called CA hmm.gif

Thanks!

shutter count will effect our camera's life?
*
It affects our shutter life. Like D90 it's 100k then need to service/change shutter (correct me if i'm wrong).

Depends on what you need and use most . I choose D90 because of the top LCD. Used my friend's D3000 and another friend's D90 once before I get my D90 and found it a bit hard to change the settings through the LCD. (just my opinion)

But if the repair fee is same as a new lens, then really need to think hmm.gif
