Added on April 5, 2011, 11:07 amIf CLS is that good, Louis Pang won't rely on pocket wizard that much already laugh.gif

Did you ever see professionals purposely kill off all the ambient lights outdoors and use strobes to shape the lighting? icon_idea.gif

CLS
- pros: ttl, able to control remote flash output from master
- cons: need line of sight

PW
- pros: radio trigger (no need line of sight), reliable
- cons: output to be set manually (though i think upcoming pw will be able to control remote flash output)

cls is good in a controlled environment. i sometimes have trouble using it in bright daylight.

pw is much much much more expensive :| unjustified cost if you aren't making money using the camera

If you're going to shoot indoor, flash makes wonders icon_rolleyes.gif

I shoot events/functions indoor, before and after I get a sb600. The picture that came out is so so nice with flash biggrin.gif . But I'm using D90 where I don't use higher than ISO 1000 cause it's quite noisy for me. Plus, at weddings, things happen for a second, so with flash you can have faster shutter speed.

That's only my opinion though.

D90 1000 doesn't seem noisy for me if u get the exposure right..

if i got 5k i would get D7k body(3.3)+50mm1.8(350?)+(SB-900)(1.6k)=5250.

Then fund for 35mm f/2 or Sigma 20mm. Im done then !

That's me lar , i dont know what do u think . i dont need kitlens because im prime lover

Added on April 5, 2011, 12:02 pmDifferent case if you owned a D90, then i suggest dont go D7k , go FX.
