Check your Engine Oil Level, Brake Fluid, Water Level, tyre pressure.... maintained a speed 100 ~ 110km/h.... should be any issue......

If you take care of the car well then should be no problem. Maybe try to drive fast and hard for 30 minutes 1st and see got any funny symptoms or not, this a week before you go Malacca lar. Difficult to say which part may fails, especially when travelling far. My friend car spark plug died on him when he was going up Genting, his spark plug never change before for almost 10 years. I burned my clutch last time when going to Ipoh, lucky it still can function just feel slippage a bit.

My car younger than yours 1 year only but my mileage is around 3k km per-month. Most important is to maintain it well.

If can take a brake every half an hour , just a precaution if there some parts that can't be stressed for long time. And don't drive fast, coz it also can make some not so good conditions parts to fail.

My clutch burn coz I was driving fast and non stop for 3 hours... that time the clutch also not that thick anymore.

Hi to all d sifu,I plan to do a top overhaul,but d formen said must change water pump together,if not,d water temp most probably will boil,izi true? Coz I jz plan to spend a little on d overhaul onli.

Water pump can be change when ever you change your timing belt.

If your car is old enough properly the water pump come into end life....

When was your last change of your water pump?
If its long time ago, best to just do it 1 shot and change it, peace of mind

Few years back ago, i changed my waterpump at around RM48. Normal OEM part only. Not sure how long can it last

can i choose not to change d water pump when top overhaul...?
coz they quoted me Rm700 for top overhaul,timing belt & water pump...

I'm also thking to change my water pump soon...cause mine been using almost more then 6 years...touchwood..so far so good...

i depart at 4AM, it should be cold..

better just change it together, coz it is quite troublesome to get into the water pump. since your can head gonna be open, it will be easier to change it.

my mechanic is at lorong pandan... behind nasi ayam special, beside the badminton court... they quite good at both service and modifications... but could be slightly slow in their work... normal la, malay mechanic take their sweet time one, unlike chinese mechanics everything need to finish fast....

who in melaka??... lai yumcha...
