QUOTE(Dannyl @ Apr 11 2011, 08:00 AM) Arc: I know. the arc got lots of interesting features to offer. plus the promised unlocked bootloader but we dont know when that will happen. the ability to flash custom roms are actually top on my list.+ Bravia screen + better cam + better design + Gingerbread IS: Everything works together really well, but nothing outstanding  Better test Arc before going for it. Who knows, maybe got some major problems. But i've yet to try the arc. anyone know where can i find a working model? those sony ericsson stores only carry dummies. |

my girl friend was looking for android phone with good camera.. and i advice her to get the IS (which for me it takes nice pictures) over the ARC because arc 320mb internal rom is too small for today's device and will limit everyone in fully use the phone especially in long term..
that is super disappointing because in my opinion it's camera is the best. |

Those still deciding on whether to use task killers or not - why not try reboot apps? It will reboot the OS (not physically reboot), relaunch all the essential apps, freeing memory from the manually-started-but-not-yet-reclaimed-process-memories. Fast Reboot is a good start. Takes only a couple of seconds to 'reboot'.

QUOTE(Blodia @ Apr 10 2011, 10:22 PM) Did you restore previous SMS's into the phone? Mine had lag after I restored roughly 4K SMS into it. Hmm I didn't. But I do sms my gf alot. Currently bout 1.5k sms between us since I got the phone on launch day. Too many sms slows the thing down? Or rather restored sms slows it?After that, wiped the phone and decided not to restore the old SMS. Working happily ever since QUOTE(evofantasy @ Apr 10 2011, 11:15 PM) Mine's all naked. Saw the protector at the roadshow but seems like the same thing, only the screen protector useful I suppose. Not a fan of casing, and currently no screen protector. How bout u? Let's put it this way. Arc's camera performance can never be achieved by IS. IS's large internal memory can partly be emulated by Arc - just install less apps. If camera is a concern (everybody has different priorities), the choice is clear.that is super disappointing because in my opinion it's camera is the best. |

If camera is a concern (everybody has different priorities), the choice is clear. Yesterday we went to midvalley n we have compared my IS (my dad's one) with ARC and definitely IS camera is not that bad. of course IS cant see picture of android in that box unless i increase the exposure.. for me in certain situation IS picture is better than my LG Optimus 2x. Arc is ahead. but she finds herself prefer IS over ARC.. and actually between IS and Optimus 2x, she admits the LG takes nicer pictures, but she has around rm1.6k to spend, which is just nice for IS ap set.. install less app? that's the least thing u wanna do if u plan to use the phone for a lengthy period.
