htc IS camera is horrible. really horrible. i think out of all the smartphone makers, only htc is the one with the worst camera ever. the nearest to real camera is nokia.

agreed,even though i was using DHD now,my late N900 with 5MP still can win over my 8MP DHD..

well answer...but well android hardware is not build for very good camera
my ex android u can eventually download some other paid apps to support the camera hardware itself...sorry i forgot the name of the apps currently give my gf use my nexus but myself using cheap BB

Hm.. actually cannot compare htc's cammera with SE , Apple's and Nokia's Camera. Those 3 had their own trademark cameras. I seriously hated SE phones these days.. They are already many steps behind their competitors. The 3 models they're gonna launch is gonna suffice badly to their competitor's new models.. Nokia had always been the abang of all cell phones.. so u know la.. Only recently been kicked down by Apple though.

Anyone knows how to reset the phone to factory default or make it launch the welcome wizard again? I skipped through all those at the center because just wanted to test the phone there and then...

You can also perform a factory reset by using the buttons on the phone.
1. With the phone turned off, long press the VOLUME DOWN button, and then briefly press the POWER button.
2. Wait for the screen with the 3 Android images to appear, and then release the VOLUME DOWN button.
3. Press VOLUME DOWN to select FACTORY RESET, and then press POWER.
4. When asked to confirm, press VOLUME UP.

HTC is never well known for its camera - if this is important to you, than you just make a wrong choice. Get the Xperia Arc which will offer better camera features. I am a camera noob - so far I find all camera pictures taken on my Androids looks OK ; I am not that detailed guy on camera quality
