Make sure use the latest video driver from nVidia to improve compatibility. It's a mess but we don't have choice. Come to think of it Microsoft should step in like Apple make the switching as part of the OS; maybe Windows 8 will do that ....

1. Brand. - no acer
2. Budget. anything below 2.5k
3. Specs. doesn't even need a GC, for work use only, no heavy usage
4. Size. the bigger the better

http://www.hardwarezone.com.ph/news/view.php?id=18695&cid=9

"ASUS recently held an event to unveil new additions to its current
notebook computer lineup. Featuring new and improved 2nd Generation Intel Core processors, the new models include the ASUS A43, N54, G53SW and the U36."

it doesn't mention SB in N43 series but the lauching program did demo the N43 laptop. and it says all product will be available at end of April.

For better design, cooling, speakers and 2 years international warranty? I'll say its worth it~  laugh.gif

Not much 14 inch SB-powered laptops at the moment...
The available ones are:

For hassle-free (less troublesome, less waiting) maintenance/repairs, just get a Dell and extend to 3 years warranty  thumbup.gif

Hi,
thx for the reply...then out of all these laptops which ones are considered to be good? my friend recently bought a N53SN(or is it SV?) from lowyat at rm2699...4g ram graphics is 540m if i'm not mistaken and the i5 SB is a great addition...from what i see from the list...it seems like if i choose a 14inch..i'll be at a losing end...correct me if i'm wrong?

Please and thx tongue.gif
