The 2nd generation i7 in the N53SN would be better for Autocad, whereas the GPU in the G53 (I'm assuming its the older model) will be better for gaming.. 
And do take note of the weight of the monstrous G53 

Some review claims that the keyboard feel is okay, some don't... so I guess it all boils down to users' preferences...
The keyboard flexes, but that doesn't mean it sucks 
Personally I like the typing feel of the N43 keyboard, which should be the same as that of N53 apart from the size...

LOL, I think perhaps you should try it out yourself? Just get a normal 15 incher (most of them will have 1366x768), then see whether you're okay with the resolution or not 

Well, it seems abit unfair to compare the N53SN with the G53 
Anyway, the i7-2630QM is approx. 50% faster than the old i7-740QM iinm... so its up to you on whether you want more processing power, or more gaming power 
Anyway, even though the G53 has a better cooling system, the better GPU will probably generate more heat than that of the GT550M? So the heat will still be high (during gaming)?

Usually rendering tasks depends more on CPU and RAM... sometimes GPU may also play a role if its optimized for it...

Have you seen both laptops in real life? Perhaps you should do that as it will help you make your decision easier

nope, processing power still goes to g53.. it should be n53sn if ur tight on budget and g53 if u want a full fledged gaming machine.

the term "gaming" today is comprised of not only high powered gpu but also processors. my mom used to misinterpret the definition of "gaming".

Anti-glare screen mostly on business notebook which don't really have the spec for gaming ntoebook...

FullHD screen mostly is Dell which need to customize and shipping...

Back again to Asus N53Sn with GT550M or Acer 5943G with HD5850 since time is the limitation here...

of course Sn is better...

FullHD screen would play lower fps if you want to play it on native resolutions and same settings..

higher resolution = more pixels to display = more work for the GPU

u can play at lowered resolution, say 1600x900, 1366x768 or 1280x720... but it's not going to look pretty on a Full HD monitor though...
