good day sifus,

i'd go through this thread from v9 to v10. i narrowed my choice to 4 "15 inches" (all below RM3k)..
1) ASUS N53SV
2) ACER 5750G
3) LENOVO IDEALPAD Y560P
4) DELL INSPIRON 15R
please advise which is most value buy in term of gaming (eg. PES) and movie. unsure.gif
and of course reliability... tongue.gif

Why would you want weaker CPU for the similar price ?
yup ur rite.... biggrin.gif
but n53sv body contour n speaker just way better than 5750...
and from the previous comment..asus build quality also better...
is acer really that bad?...even my friend said that acer is like proton in car market...

Yes, there's a huge gap of difference between the GT540 and GT550M  nod.gif

Gaming:
1. Asus A43Sv i5-2410M + Nvidia GT540M@RM2599
2. Acer Aspire TimelineX 4830TG, i5-2410M + Nvidia GT540M@RM2499
3. Dell Inspiron 14R, i5-2410M + AMD HD6630@RM2349

Well, this is pretty obvious… These are the models with the best GPU in the market right now. So it’s all down to personal preference on brand. 4830TG came 2nd even though it's cheaper than A43Sv since it comes with integrated battery. Granted it saves some trouble, but we all know heat is the No1 enemy of battery, and gaming = lots of heat produced. Do take note this may change soon as Asus N43 series and Dell XPS 14 are getting updated soon

tq for the info....
the batteries is one of the "kureng" about this lappy...
but it have usb3.0...one of my must have spec... biggrin.gif

when will a43sv launch?

Yeah, the built-in battery would be a let-down for most of the gamers it aims at  doh.gif
Asus A43Sv is already out  nod.gif

really??? huh.gif
i mean in malaysia...?
y there is nothing about it in asus product guide mar~apr?

cause if yes, i want to compare the specs btwn a43sv n 4830tg...
