It depends on your usage.. if you're into gaming, getting a laptop with a powerful SB processor but with crappy integrated GPUs e.g. Lenovo V470, will be disastrous...
For your references, those with i3-2xxxx; i5-2xxxx and i7-2xxxx are SB processors, you can refer here for more details: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1809427

Some units are affected differently from others. I was pressing keyboards like a loon this afternoon. The promoters there looked at me but didn't comment. laugh.gif

I thought we discussed this before? It's just a matter of whether you using the laptop for hardcore gaming or not..

Well, I am not a hardcore gamer as at now, but I was thinking what if I got the XPS15 now and I got a game later that I like to play but it does not run smoothly on the GT540 ... hmm.gif

Still a bit of undecided now .. I did consider the Alienware coming M14x, old m15x and the new m17X R3, m14x is not FHD, and my wife was complaining of the weight of m15x and m17xR3, so I guess I can rule out the Alienware notebooks.

Maybe you can tell us what's the game you might want to play? As 540M is already strong enough to play most recent games on medium settings at least, not in native full hd resolution though.. Your 'what if' costs so much more lol.. For that money you can invest in a 240Gb SSD even better..
