QUOTE(lee_what2004 @ Mar 21 2011, 08:08 AM) Dell XPS 15 (upgrade screen), Dell Studio XPS 16 2. What spec ? If for gaming, the 1. won't keep up in FHD... Hi lee_what2004, what do you mean "won't keep up in FHD"? Well, of course I will use it for some gaming, but I am not some hardcore game fan, so gaming is not my first priority, the FHD is more for my multimedia editing.

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Mar 21 2011, 12:06 PM) lee_what sifu probably means that the GPU won't be powerful enough for you to play games in FullHD, lowering the resolution will do the job For the DELL XPS 15 MLK: So means if I am playing games, I should lower the resolution for smooth game play? And with other multimedia stuff, it should not have any problem with the GPU?

QUOTE(eugenechiuu @ Apr 17 2011, 01:44 AM) I thought we discussed this before? It's just a matter of whether you using the laptop for hardcore gaming or not.. Well, I am not a hardcore gamer as at now, but I was thinking what if I got the XPS15 now and I got a game later that I like to play but it does not run smoothly on the GT540 ... Still a bit of undecided now .. I did consider the Alienware coming M14x, old m15x and the new m17X R3, m14x is not FHD, and my wife was complaining of the weight of m15x and m17xR3, so I guess I can rule out the Alienware notebooks.
