Actually cimb now cancelling their cimb preferred membership card.. Nowadays banks' preferred, priority banking membership cards either comes with debit or credit card. hmm cimb preferred vi allows cc owner to enter airport lounge where cimb bank has existence in that country namely sg, thai, cambodia, my, indon. cimb vi and world cc entitled you to 15% discount in malaysia airport duty free shop(exclude ciggie )

If buy 2 hrs package, can stay 3-4 hrs? How they will know when u leave?

Bro, sorry for the late reply as I just got back. As for AMEX Plat CC, I guess b00n whould be a better person to ask. But if you do spend like RM50K, I guess no problems in waiving the card annual fee. CAll 1800 88 9559 AMEX CS and ask.

FYI, I just requested for my Gold card annual fee to be waived and for the first time in like more than 10 years to did not approve it on the spot but instead I was told it would go to management for a decision. Can't blame them as have not use the card for the last 3 years. Anyway, CS said in order to get annual fee waiver for my Gold Charge card, I need to like just spend RM300/month with it.

Ive got both HSBC Signature and Maybank Platinum Amex. I know the HSBC Signature grants me free access to the Plaza Premium Lounge at KLIA.

Where else can i get free lounge access with these cards?

Hi planning to start traveling soon with wife.....plan to go overseas at least twice per year.....may I know which credit card to get with klia and lcct lounge benefit plus /minus traveling benefit like insurance ....my pay is about 90 k per year.....was interested in citibank miles ......any suggestions.....thanks.....

American Express Platinum Credit Card (i.e. without Maybank or Maybankard Logo), Supp card get to enter PPL Lounges for FREE too.

AMEX you need to call for waiver. I can't recall the amount to spend, some RM6k for 6 months or something. You will need to check back my last year post either in here or in the AMEX topic.

AMEX plat allows complimentary entry into KLIA and LCCT, overseas can't recall but I think I remember one forumer managed to enter HK airport lounge.

As usual, only 1 admission per card. For AMEX plat, supp card also allows entry. Not sure about other complimentary access cards though.

may i ask why not citibank premier miles.....
it has more insurance coverage than amex and entrance to Singapore and HK lounge also...
only thing good for amex is the air miles conversion is better than citi but then again i am already getting all the treat points with my maybank 2 card.....this travel card will only be used for buying tickets so that i get the protection coverage and access to lounge only....

cos PM minimum annual income is RM100,000 and you stated your income is around RM90k.

the amex is 100k
the visa only 60k

I doubted they still promote Premier Miles Visa Signature. But anyway bear in mind PM no longer gives complementary access to LCCT lounge. So depending on which airport you take and which destination, the limited complementary access might not do you good. The best thing about PM I like is if one swipes 3 times overseas, then free limo ride home from KLIA.
