1) Download the Partition Wizard Home here (don't worry, it's free) - http://download.cnet.com/Partition-Wizard-...4-10962200.html

2) Use this Partition Wizard to (you need to do this step if you've formerly partitioned your sd card) :

a) delete partition

b) wipe partition

b) format partition

3) Close the Partition Wizard

4) Use your pc to format the the SD card.

5) Then open back the Partition Wizard.

6) Create the necessary partitions (Merge/Resize Partition menu) , i.e. a) FAT32 b) ext4 set at not more thatn 500mb - both must be primary, then c) linux swap , around 50mb will do. (this is for App2sd)

If you are using Link2sd , you don't need the linux swap partition. Just the FAT32 and either one of these - ext2, or ext3 or ext 5 at not more than 500mb. Both these FAT32 and ext partitions must be primary.

7) After you've partitioned, just slot your sd card back to the phone and enjoy limitless applications on your sd card.

Good luck, bro!

And please do share here whether it works for you or not.

For anyone who face internal memory problem, here is my steps after i do countless tried and error. (for froyo from madteam only)

-use partition wizard to create another partition on your sd card. i am using 16GB sd card. mine 1st partition is 14.1gb and 2nd is 500mb. the rest is linux swap.
-Format 1st partition as FAT32 and 2nd partition as Ext2 OR Ext 3.
*REMEMBER TO SET THE 1ST AND 2ND PARTITION TO PRIMARY AND 2ND PARTITION CANNOT MORE THAN 500MB!!!
-install link2sd and select Ext 2 OR Ext4 depend on what you have formatted for your 2nd partition on your sd card.
-run link2sd and select any applications that you wan to link with sd card then clink on "create link".

You need to root your phone before you proceed the steps above.

I also have tried on using app2sd pro to move my apps to sd card. It works too. So for my G5 i can use either app2sd pro and link2sd to move my apps and games to sd card.

Enjoy~~

1. delete your partition, make sure u only see unlocated space near 2gb. (you are using 2gb sd card if i am not mistaken).
2. create new partition. Select the partition space for the 1st partition, and only let the another extra 500 mb left for 2nd partition. Eg. you have 1.83Gb unlocated space, you set 1.33GB for the 1st partition. Remember to format it as FAT 32.
3. Then you will see another 500 mb unlocated space in your sd card from the partition wizard. Format it as ext 2 or ext 3.
4.Now you will see 2 partition in your sd card. one is 1.33GB and another one is 500mb. Set them both to primary by right click your mouse on the partition. Then click apply on partition wizard.

I roughly explain cos i don have partition wizard with me now. I am using other pc. You can refer to the help on partition wizard on how to create new partition.

hi, give me 1/2 ann hour, i'll explain to you step by step.

I think your sd card is blank and looks like it's damaged right? ..the computer can't recognize it and you can't format it, right?

I can show you how to recover it back as good as new, but please give me 1/2 an hour as I'm now outside and going back to my computer.

thanks guys for your help. I think i'm going to used Link2sd rather than MAD Apps2SD. Done partitioning my SD. 1st part is FAT32 and 2nd is EXT2. No Swap. Done.

Now, can someone guide me how to flash the compass fix? Its been almost 15 minutes and Odin just stuck at <1> Setup connection.

What I have done

1.I've downloaded the tweak : boot-img-test6.tar (in RAR format).
2. I've extract the files and it became boot-img-test6 (in TAR format)
3. Open Odin.
Select the
OPS file : EUROPA_I5508_v1.0.ops
BOOT : boot-img-test6.tar
One Package : I5500-MOTAFOCA-2.0.9.tar.md5

after clicking the start button, its stuck at <1> setup connection.

what am i doing wrong??

Leave the BOOT blank.

One Package : Don't use I5500-MOTAFOCA-2.0.9.tar.md5 - this is for Froyo flash. Replace this with the boot-img-test6.tar

The post above (#731) is meant for froyo 2.0.9. I'm not sure if it'll work for stock rom.

But you can refer here (the post by aeroz) :

Aiyyooo...4-6 minutes have passed.

Is it normal to take up so much time??

Do you extract the boot-img file? Because if i didnt, Odin will crash/force closed.
